______________________(The Spartans make their way through the city as they go through corridors and hallways until they get to a spot where lava is flowing and on the other side of the river of lava is the Grave Digger)
Grave Digger: What fools. What fools and you... the biggest fool of all, Kratos and Dratos. The Ghost of Sparta and the Son of the Ghost, The slayers of Ares, and now the destroyers of Atlantis. You both should take heed, Spartans. The destruction of Poseidon's kingdom will not bode well on Olympus
Kratos and Dratos: We care little for the gods
Grave Digger: And yet you both walk beside them?
Dratos: My father and I did not ask for the thrones of Ares
(Dratos gives the Grave Digger a cold stare)
Grave Digger: You both were given the honor to walk among the Gods and yet you two spit on it like it was dirt
Kratos: The Gods can keep their honor. I only wish to find my brother
Grave Digger: Ah, yes. The other one. Try if you must, but you and your son will not succeed. You both will never find him and in the wake of your destruction, you both have sunk the only path to your salvation
(Dratos rolls his eyes in mild annoyance)(The Grave Digger motions around them)
Grave Digger: This... is all that awaits you two at the end of your journey
(Kratos scowls at the Grave Digger)
Kratos: Not before I find Deimos
Dratos: Nothing will stop me and my father on our quest, Grave Digger
Grave Digger: Be wise, my son and young one... and turn back now. Do not seek the Domain of Death
(The Grave Digger laughs as he goes back to digging)
(Dratos spots a large key on the ground and picks it up as he sets it on his shoulders)
(The Spartans make their way over towards a gate. Dratos puts the large key into the keyhole on the ground and turns it, making the door open. He pulls out the key and puts it on his back as both he and his father walk through the doorway)
Streets of Heraklion
(The Spartans walk through the abandoned streets as they keep an eye out for any enemies that could be waiting to strike)
(The Spartans stop to see two statues of armor soldiers wielding spears in a standoff. Kratos gets a flashback to his time as a young boy as the scene shows two spears clashing with one another)
Younger Past Kratos: Don't let your guard down, Deimos!
(Kratos strikes with his spear, hitting Deimos' shield as he laughs)
(Deimos strikes with his spear, thinking this is fun, but Kratos seems more focused and is not having fun as he strikes Deimos again)
(The young boys slam their shields into each other as they push against one another)
(Deimos manages to push Kratos back, but Kratos thrushes his spear forward, knocking Deimos' shield away, disarming him as Kratos rams his shield into his brother, which knocks him onto his back)
(Kratos holds the spear to Deimos' throat)
Younger Past Kratos: A Spartan warrior never lets his back hit the ground. Even in death, a Spartan stands tall for battle. You are a Spartan, are you not!??
(Kratos holds the spear closer to Deimos' throat, waiting for an answer)
Younger Past Deimos: Yes, Kratos
(Kratos withdraws the spear from his brother's throat and stabs the spear into the ground as he reaches a hand out for Deimos)
(Deimos grabs his brother's hand as Kratos pulls Deimos to his feet)
(Suddenly something is heard as Kratos turns towards the direction of the noise as Deimos follows his brother's gaze)
(Flamed arrows are seen flying through the sky as the arrows hit the ground, setting homes into blaze)
(The flashback ends a bit as the Spartans continue their journey, they get to where they see a female winged Naga, who is holding a man by the throat)
Naga: Ghost of Sparta? Son of the Ghost?
???Man: I don't know where they are. Please... I swear to you...
(The Naga throws the man onto the ground)
(She then proceeds to sink her claws into the man's stomach as he yells in pain)
Naga: Tell us...
(The man does not say anything to her, because of the pain he is in, which annoys the Naga as she rips her claws out of his stomach)
(The Spartans make their way to the platform, where the man is)
(They walk up to the make, who turns out to be a Spartan soldier)
Spartan Soldier: My lords, I knew you both would return. I have not failed you two. I told the servants of Death nothing. Elysium. Elysium...
(Kratos places his hand on the dying Spartan's chest)
Kratos: You are a Spartan. Even in death, you stand tall for battle
(Dratos looks down at the dying Spartan)
Dratos: You will forever be a Spartan, even beyond death
Spartan Soldier: Thank you Lord Kratos and Dratos
(With his final breath the Spartan warrior dies from his injuries)
