God of War: Ascension (Chapter 4)

(SuperShade15: Sorry if I didn't make a chapter this week. I have been dealing with school and getting ready for graduation stuff, with that out of the way, here is a chapter for you guys)

(The Spartans have been running for a while, trying to get out of the mysterious village, they are in to go find the Oracle)

(They then hear a mysterious disembodied woman's voice)

???woman voice: For those who seek the truth, the heat of Ares' Fire has no burn.

(The father-son duo sees a burning wall that has a sculpted face of Ares on it. In front of the wall is a cauldron with fire flowing out of it)

(The Spartans walk to the cauldron. Kratos takes his blades off his back, while Dratos summons his blades in hand, then they stab their blades into the cauldron. The fire gets absorbed into their blades, infusing with them)

(After their blades absorb the fire, they rip them out of the cauldron destroying it as fire explodes everywhere. The blades are engulfed with flame, pulsating with power)

(Enemies start crawling out of the ground with weapons in hand, ready to fight the Spartans)

(Giving them the perfect test dummies to test their weapons new abilities)

Dratos: Let us see, what our new powers can do.

(They start swinging their blades as fire, ignite their enemies, turning them into ashes)

(Dratos slams his blades into the ground as it sends a fiery shockwave at his opponents, sending them back, hitting a wall, while receiving 4 degree burns)

(Kratos slices one in half as it turns to ashes. He grabs one and slams it on the ground, ripping the head off and throwing it at another one)

(The fire on the wall goes out, as the wall reveals itself to be a door that goes to a room)

(They venture inside, exiting through the window, then climbing on to a second story of the building)

(They see a feminine humanoid-snake with snake-like hair on a pillar, hissing at the Spartans, who are ready to kill it)

(Dratos slams his blades together creating a flash of fire, blinding it giving his father the chance to attack it)

(It becomes unblinded and shoots a weird red mist at the duo, trying to turn them into stone)

(Kratos picks up his son and chucks him at the beast, making him headbutt the creature)

(It stumbles back, dazed from the young warrior headbutting its head)

(Dratos hooks the tail, holding it in place, letting his father break its neck, killing it)

Dratos: I wonder, what does a cooked snake taste like?

Kratos: We don't have time for eating. The Oracle awaits us.

Dratos: (Annoyed) Fine.

(They start on their journey again, climbing, fighting through more enemies, and finally making it outside. They run to a gate with Poseidon on it, glowing blue and like Ares, has a cauldron in front of him)
