Weird Feelings

Y/N stretched his ams above his head, feeling a bit sweaty right now as he had walked out of the gym a few minutes ago and was now on his way towards his dorm. He had a conversation with Sun the day before and his blonde haired friend invited him for a hangout at the gym. Y/N didn't decline his offer because he had nothing to do today and he knew he had to attend the gym as he needed to do it if he wanted to grow stronger as a huntsman and keep himself at the school.

He always made sure to visit the gym at least two times a week. Either Yang or Weiss always accompanied him for his gym sessions. Yang was accompanying due to her having her own workouts schedules and Weiss was accompanying due to her wanting to keep his training in check. She always made sure to use this as an opportunity to exercise herself. She probably used this as a way to oggle Neptune whenever he was at the gym as well. Even if she won't admit it out loud to anyone.

After spending a better part of the morning at the gym with Sun and doing their usual workout routines, the two friends bid each other farewell and left for their dorms to get themselves washed up and get to the other stuff they had planned for today. Or at least Sun had plans to attend something else today. Y/N had no idea what he should do right now and he was trying to come up with something ever since he left the gym. If he was honest with himself, he doubted something will miraculously happen to leave him occupied for the rest of the day.

The h/c haired young man looked ahead of himself a second later, having just overheard something in front of him and this sound suprised him a bit because it wasn't walking like you'd expect from the hallways of Beacon. It instead sounded like something was riding on rollerblades right now. Whoever it was, he had no idea if he should admire their bravery or stupidity for doing something like this out in the hallway in the open like this. Goodwitch would definitely scarr them for life if she caught them doing this.

He looked around himself a second later, trying to locate whoever was responsible for this noise as he was both curious and interested in knowing who it was. His eyes caught the sight of this person as he managed to locate them or rather her, because he saw Neon. He recognized her from the Beacon school dance as they danced together a bit when they had their dance off with Sun, Mercury and Resse and she even asked him to have a dance with her once the slow start would start but he refused.

Y/N nodded to himself a second later, seeing he had the answer to this question as he shifted his attention away from Neon and went back to what he was doing a second earlier. He didn't got a chance to reach his destination, though as Neon took notice of him walking her way a second later. She stopped what she was doing for a second, keeping her eyes on Y/N and looked at him with a thoughtful expression on her face as she tried to recall where she saw him somewhere before.

"...Hey! You're the cutie from the dance that I kept my eye on!" She pointed at him, having finally realized where she knew Y/N from and rolled her way to him and began circling around him in her rollerskates with an interested look on her face.

Y/N stopped in his tracks, looking at the girl riding the circles around him. He tried to reply to her in some way, but his words died in his throat as he realized he didn't got a chance to find out what her name was back at the dance "...I'm sorry. I don't think I got your name back at the dance."

"It's because you refused to dance with me, you meanie!" Neon pouted at him, doing another circle around him, 'If you weren't a meanie and actually went to dance with me, then maybe you would know my name and I would know yours."

Y/N raised his hands in a defensive manner, "Hey. Not everyone is a fan of dancing, you know? You can only blame my roommate for me joining the dance floor. I was perfectly fine doing my own thing in the background until she called me out."
