A Strange New World (RWBY x Male Reader)

Not long after Y/N woke up in the middle of the forest and witnessed all of these strange things happen in such short amount of time, he was taken by the people he was fortunate enough to come across in the forest to their academy where he was introduced to it's headmaster. Their headmaster turned out to be a man by the name of Ozpin. He told him that after some event they would talk about where he was and what was going on.

"Russel Thrush, Cardin Winchester, Dove Bronzewing and Sky Lark. You four retreived the black bishop pieces. From this day forward you will be known as team CRDL, lead by Cardin Winchester. " Ozpin spoke as the crowd applauded as the newly appointed team stood proud.

The headmaster turned around shifted his gaze to another team, "Jaune Arc, Lie Ren, Pyrrha Nikos and Nora Valkyrie. The four of you retrieved the white rook pieces. From this day forward you will work as team JNPR, lead by Jaune Arc."

"...What? Lead by me?" Jaune was shocked by this revelation.

"Congratulations, young man." Ozpin said as Pyrrha punched Jaune in the arm, causing him to collaps on the floor. She smiled sheepishly at her action. Ozpin shifted his attention to the last team right after, "...And lastly... Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long. The four of you retrieved the white knight pieces. From this day forward you will work together as team RWBY. Led by, Ruby Rose."

Weiss had a look of shock on her face while Yang gave Ruby a tight hug,

"I'm so proud of you!" Yang excliamed, hugging Ruby tightly as Weiss looked shocked by this revelation.

As Y/N to continued to watch what was going on from the background where he wouldn't getspotted by anyone, he felt someone place a hand on his shoulder. He turned back to face the person standing behind him and saw a blond-haired woman. From what he was told by Ozpin before this team oppointing event started, her name was Glynda Goodwitch.

"Come with me." She told him, "You and Ozpin will talk about what you're doing here in a few minutes."

"Great. I've been looking forward to this since they took me here." Y/N voiced to her how glad he was at the thought of finally getting the answers to the questions going through his mind right now as Glynda took him to the place he assumed to be Ozpin's office. It was quite easy for him to say it Ozpin's office from the way this room looked, with a desk standing in the middle of it.

"Remain here." She told him as Y/N took his seat in front of the desk.

He looked at her and gave her a nod of understanding to show her his understanding of her words, "Okay."

Glynda nodded back at him as she turned away from him and walked out of the office, leaving Y/N alone there. Y/N stayed in the office for the next few minutes, waiting for Ozpin to arrive here for their talk. He turned around to look behind him a few minutes later as the door to the elevator which took him and Glynda to Ozpin's office was opened. It was when Ozpin walked into his office.

"Greetings." Ozpin greeted him as he made his way to his desk.

"Hello." Y/N greeted him back as Ozpin took his seat in front of him, setting his mug down on his desk as he did so.

"Well, Mr. L/N." Ozpin started to say to him, "Looks like you stumbled upon an initiation course. Can you explain yourself?"

Y/N sighed, bracing himself for the reaction his answer was going to get out of Ozpin as he was certain the man in front of him was not going to believe him, "...Honestly. I have no clue. The last thing I remember was going out with my friends to hang out and the next thing I remember I'm in the middle of a forest with teenagers fighting black creatures with deadly weapons."
