When y/n came back to the Academy on Sunday evening, she first went to her own room. However, she would have preferred to run straight to Gojo. They had to talk. Not about Geto >she wasn't allowed to tell anyone about the fact that he had visited y/n< but about everything else. So she put her things on her bed and then went back outside into the corridor. But halfway there she stopped. She was somehow afraid to go to Gojo. So she took a short detour outside and lit a cigarette. The nicotine relaxed her a little. As she stood there, she thought about what she wanted to say to him. She actually didn't want to say much, but rather ask. She wanted to know more about his powers, about the Academy. Even though she hated to admit it, Geto's words had made her suspicious.

But somehow she couldn't bring herself to go back inside. So she smoked another cigarette, then another. Suddenly footsteps sounded behind her. "You must have been serious about Monday morning."

"Nonsense, I wanted to come in and say Hello," y/n turned to Gojo with an apologetic smile.

"What stopped you?", Gojo wanted to know and walked towards the stair where she was sitting on. Y/n turned around again and shrugged her shoulders. "I was thinking."

"About what? How long it'll take for you to die from lung cancer? If you keep smoking like this, I'm guessing about five years." Gojo tapped his shoe into the small pile of empty smoked cigarette filters that had accumulated next to y/n. Now she looked up to him again. "Funny, did you have a clown for dinner?"

Gojo laughed. "Not only one, but two."

Y/n just shook her head at his silliness. "Sure."

Now he also sat down on the stairs and turned his head towards her. "So?"

Y/n shrugged and looked straight across the dark grounds of the Academy. The night was already a bit cool, autumn would soon really begin. "You once said you can't give me the choice, that you have to train me. But isn't it about instilling the right mindset in me? So I don't do anything wrong? And also that someone can keep an eye on me."

Gojo seemed a little irritated by the serious topic. "What makes you think that? Did Shoko say anything?"

Y/n shook her head. "Should she have said something?"

Now Gojo shook his head, but otherwise remained silent. So she waved him off. "It doesn't matter, you don't understand anyway."

"Why shouldn't I understand?" Y/n looked at him briefly just so he could see her sarcastic grimace. "Because you're the Strongest, Saturo Gojo, blah blah blah."

"Ah," Gojo seemed amused. "That's why I'm always extremely happy? Sure, why not. My life is a flower meadow full of unicorns who shit rainbows."

Y/n quickly shook her head, knowing that wasn't true. Besides, she didn't mean it that way. "No, but you're a good one."

"Hmm," Gojo seemed to think about it. Then he turned his head away from her, also looking straight ahead. "Sometimes, when I use my powers to the fullest, it's fantastic. Like I'm high. But that's not even five percent of my life. In the other times I listen to expectations from those ridiculous people. Good or bad, doesn't matter."

"Most of the time people expect me to do something bad, but hope it's not the case," y/n lit another cigarette. Gojo sighed. "Then why are you even listening?"

"I'm not, I'm just saying," y/n mumbled. Then she turned her head and looked at him thoughtfully. "What if I do something bad?"

Gojo now also turned to her and tilted his head. He probably didn't know what to do with the question. But y/n couldn't be more specific. She couldn't tell him that she planned to accept his old friend's invitation. She couldn't say that she wanted to meet Suguru Geto. It already felt like she had betrayed Gojo. Although Geto had sought her out and not she had sought him out. But she wanted to hear what else Geto had to say. Of course she wasn't stupid. It was clear to her that the guy wanted something from her. She wouldn't get away unscathed, even if he had said he only wanted to invite her to tea.
