Training with Kento was different than training with Gojo. It actually felt like a real class and not like messing around with a friend.

But something was strange today. The blonde young man seemed absent, somehow depressed. And he constantly patted Takuma's shoulder when he did something well. Sure, the brown-haired boy was happy about the praise. But y/n somehow had the feeling that Kento was sad. Nevertheless, she kept her mouth shut and trained diligently. But when class ended in the afternoon, y/n stormed off without saying goodbye. The whole time she had been thinking about how she could find out what was going on with Kento today. And an idea had come to her pretty quickly. She could just ask. Not Kento. He probably wouldn't give her an answer. Because all Sorcerers had one thing in common. As much as they liked to act up as teachers and give a comment on everything and everyone. They all rarely or never talked about themselves or their inner lives. So a few minutes later y/n knocked on Gojo's door.

"Open," it came back. But when she opened the door, Gojo looked as if he immediately regretted the words. She rolled her eyes. "Don't worry. I won't stay long and it's not about you either."

"Then what do you want?", he asked back as if it was the most absurd thing he had ever heard. Y/n rolled her eyes again. "You have to tell me something about Kento."

"And what would that be?", Gojo now came up to her and stood in front of her with his arms crossed. "It's not my style to gossip about others. And if you're into him now, ask him for his number yourself."

"I...", y/n started to hiss, but then she stopped herself when she saw Gojo's triumphant grin. Of course he just wanted to provoke her. She sighed. "Is there something about today that I missed? He's weird. I think He's sad."

"Sad?" Gojo laughed incredulously. "The suit model is never a cheerful person, is he?"

Y/n shook her head. "But that's not what I mean. He's almost... I don't know how else to put it... sentimental. So what's wrong today? Can you think of anything about the date?"

Gojo thought. Then suddenly something seemed to occur to him. "There actually is. Kento's classmate Haibara died. Back in the summer of 2006."

"Died?", y/n repeated in shock. Gojo nodded. "During a mission. Kento and Suguru... those two were at the postmortem."

"That's terrible...", y/n suddenly understood something. She understood more and more why Kento and Suguru were the way they were. But Gojo wasn't finished yet. "Well... he wasn't strong enough. Of course you would have liked him. Haibara was really sweet, maybe rather simple minded. But exceptionally cute, like a puppy."

"Oh my god...", now y/n put her hand over her mouth. Gojo seemed confused. "What?"

"Could it be that he was a bit like Takuma?", y/n now asked. Gojo rocked his head back and forth. "Could be... Now that you mention it... Yes. Why?"

"Doesn't matter," she didn't take the time to explain it to him in more detail and just patted him on the shoulder briefly. "Thanks. We'll see you, or not."

"Hey!", as she wanted to walk past Gojo >out of the room< he grabbed the sleeve of her uniform and pulled her back. She looked at him a little annoyed. "What?"

"You know it wasn't anything personal?", he wanted to know. She raised her eyebrows. "That you didn't want to be my teacher anymore? Yes, that's okay."

"You're pretty volatile," Gojo said. It sounded like an accusation. It took a moment for her to understand. Then she laughed. "Did you think I would cry after you or something? There was nothing there. I think I made it clear to you that I can distance myself from my emotions. And I can't do anything about that you now took that into your own hands. But of course you're free to do whatever you want. So where's Kento's room?"

Gojo held onto her sleeve for a few more seconds. Then he let go of her and shook his head. "He doesn't have a room here?"

"Huh?", y/n uttered confused. "Where does he live then?"

„I'm not sure if he'd be happy about visitors," Gojo replied. Y/n put her hands on her hips sternly. "Just because you're always getting on his nerves doesn't mean he's not easy to get along with. Come on, give me the address!"

"What's the magic word?", Gojo now grinned again. How dare he calling her volatile? He was the only one here who had mood swings. She shook her head. "You're not my teacher anymore, you can't tell me to do anything. So magic word my ass."

After an unnecessary childish discussion, he finally gave her the address and y/n left the Academy. It was already evening when she knocked on Kento's door at the big apartment building. When he opened, he looked at her confused. "What do you want y/n?"

"I did some shopping," with a beaming smile she held out a bag to him. It was filled with all sorts of goodies.

"I've already eaten," he replied unimpressed. She sighed. "Put it in your fridge then."

Now he finally accepted the bag. But he still didn't invite her in. "Sorry, today's not a good day to hang out."

She tilted her head. "That's fine. But today was a exhausting day, so I wanted to check on you."

Something about the way he looked at her now told her that he knew that she knew why he had a hard day today and she was here now. But still none of them said it out loud.

"I am your teacher, not the other way around. I should tell you something like that," he replied. She shook her head and laughed. "Yeah well, you guys keep saying that. But you all really suck at taking care of your own mental health."

"Do you want to talk about what happened with Gojo?", Kento now asked in a nicer tone. She laughed again, this time really incredulous. "No! I want you to have a nice evening. And if you're feeling bad, don't be shy to call. After training ends, you're not my teacher. At least we're nearly the same age."

"I'll never understand why you're friends with Gojo," Kento now admitted. Y/n shrugged her shoulders. "I'm not sure if we're still friends anymore. But... that's not a topic for now. Just enjoy the snacks I brought you."

„That's pure sugar and...", he locked into the bag and was about to start complaining but then he pulled himself together. „Thank you."

„Finally", y/n smiled amused. „You're welcome."

Then she bowed a little in fairwell and waved. But before she actually turned away, she thought of one more thing. „By the way, you're doing a great job with Takuma. He really adores you."

Juju Stroll
„You went to see Nanami without me?", Takuma said in a sulky tone. Y/n sighed. „Good lord, just stop it already."
„Fine", the boy replied still a little grumpy. Then his voice changed. „I haven't seen Gojo in a while."
„Me neither", said y/n. Takuma raised his brows questioning. „What happened?"
„I... I told him." Now Takuma laid his hands over his mouth in shock. „About your naughty dream? And that made him disappear?"
„If you say it like that...", now y/n couldn't help but start grinning. „I should have done that years ago, every time he pissed me off."
