"Pretty," y/n commented as Isagi led her into his living room. The young man smiled. "Thanks."
But shortly afterwards she felt something. Goosebumps formed on her arms. She looked around because she knew the feeling. Isagi looked at her confused, he seemed to notice that something was wrong. "Hey, are you okay? Are you feeling uncomfortable?"
"What?", she looked back at him, lost in thoughts. "No, everything's fine. I just need to... use the bathroom very urgently?"
"Oh... oh!", Isagi laughed awkwardly. "Straight ahead, the farthest room on the right."
So that's where she went. But when she closed the door behind her, instead of sitting on the toilet, she pulled out her cell phone. With flying fingers she dialed Shoko's number. "Shoko? Hi, I need your help."
"My help? I'm still in pathology and I can't get out of here that quickly, I'm sorry," Shoko said. But the answer suited y/n perfectly. "Good! You need to call Isagi. Tell him to come over, tell him you need his help. He needs to get out of his apartment."
"What do you mean, get out? Why?", Shoko asked now. Then suddenly a second voice came through the receiver of her phone. "Y/n? What's wrong?"
"Gojo?", y/n asked into her cell phone irritated. What was he doing with Shoko so late? Had he been working until now? Actually, it didn't feel right for y/n to drag him into this. She knew that Gojo wasn't exactly a fan of her meeting Isagi. But denying it didn't help anymore. Maybe Gojo could actually help her. "I feel a curse in his apartment. It feels strong. I want to eliminate it. Now!"
"All right," Shoko spoke again. "Wait a minute, I'll call him. But I can't promise anything."
So y/n waited. When she finally came out of the toilet, Isagi was taking his cell phone away from his ear. His look was apologetic. Questioning, as if she didn't know what was going on, y/n looked at him. "What is it?"
"Shoko just called me," Isagi said. "She needs help at university. But if you don't want to go, I'll stay here."
Immediately, y/n shook her head. "No, everything's fine. It's definitely important, if she calls this late. Should I wait here or go home?"
She had made the suggestion to stay here on purpose. She didn't want to break in to look for the curse. And she was successful, because Isagi nodded. "Sure, just wait here. It probably won't take long."
"Okay, all right," y/n smiled and sat down on the couch as an alibi. So Isagi put his jacket back on and left the apartment with one last apologetic smile. As soon as he was gone, y/n jumped back up. She ran from one room to the other. The toilet and living room were clean, she already knew that. She didn't find anything in the kitchen either. She was just opening the door to the storage room when there was a knock on the apartment door. Damned! Isagi had only just left. But when she opened the door, it wasn't him standing there.
"Gojo?", she looked at him confused. "What are you doing here?"
The white-haired young man entered without her inviting him in. "I'm the savior in times of need. Have you found the thing yet?"
Y/n shook her head. Gojo immediately held his cell phone under her nose. "I found this on the way here. The article is a few years old. A woman was raped here. So I'm guessing it's the bedroom. So it speaks for you that you haven't found anything yet."
"Raped? But Isagi has nothing to do with it, right?", y/n asked uncertainly. Gojo shook his head. "Of course not, otherwise I would have dragged you out of this apartment long ago. He actually moved in recently."
"Alright," y/n nodded. Then the two walked towards the last door.
"Oh holy shit!", y/n then gasped as they entered the room. This wasn't just one curse. There were creepy creatures crawling all over the ceiling. Gojo grinned confidently. "This is gonna be so much fun. Best evening workout ever. Come on, let's clean up."
