The team stepped into their next location based campaign event, greeted by an atmosphere charged with importance and bustling energy signaling the beginning of their workshop; this time, it's a two day event- The Everwood Gourmet Gala.

This Gourmet Gala is a culinary Extravaganza that celebrates the fusion of traditional dishes with modern twists. It features collaborations between local food stall owners and restaurant chefs to create mouthwatering dishes that showcase Everwood's culinary heritage while telling compelling brand stories.

Eleanora and her team worked meticulously, handling every aspect of the event with precision. As the gala commenced it's day 1, they were fully immersed in its execution, making sure everything ran smoothly from the very start.

Chefs and stall workers seamlessly came together to create a diverse array of food offerings. From savory dishes to sweet treats, there was something for every palate.

On the other part of the town, Emmet had just landed in Everwood, visiting his hometown after 2 months.
His breath billowed in the crisp winter air, forming misty clouds. Wrapped in a thick coat and scarf, he surveyed the familiar streets of Everwood, a sense of nostalgia engulfing him.
It had been two months since his last visit to his hometown. The snow-covered lanes and frosted trees evoked memories of winters gone by.

Hailing a taxi, he navigated through the familiar streets of Everwood with a sense of anticipation.
As he reached the bustling Town Square, his attention was drawn to a specific section of the Plaza adorned with vibrant digital installations, dazzling lighting effects, and expansive tents. The lively atmosphere and engaged crowd captivated his interest, prompting him to halt his ride.

"What's happening here?" He asked the driver, still looking through the window.

"Town's flooded with campaigns lately. They're everywhere, probably city-driven." The driver nonchalantly brushed off the conversation, not really giving much information.

Emmet paused, weighing his options briefly. In the end, he figured, why not? The buzz and sparkle of the event were too tempting to pass up.

After settling the fare, Emmet stepped out of the cab with his mini travel bag and ventured into the plaza.
Inside, the air was filled with tantalizing aromas, twinkling lights, and the hum of lively chatter. Tables adorned with gourmet delights lined the area, inviting guests to indulge in a feast for the senses.

Emmet found an unoccupied seat, hanging his winter coat on the back and placing his bag beside him. While perusing the stalls, he paused a passing individual, curious to learn more about the event's hosts and its allure.

"Hi there! This event seems amazing. Do you know who's hosting it?"

"Hey! Yeah, it's been orchestrated by an advertising company from the city. They've already hosted many other events as well. They're lit for real." The person said, stuffing another chicken wing in his mouth, ending the conversation, and moved ahead.

Captivated by this newfound information, Emmet wandered further in the plaza.
As he approached one such stall, ready to indulge in its savory treat, a familiar name caught him off guard, freezing him in place.

"Eleanora, Chef Stefan requested your assistance at his stall. Just head over there and lend a hand."

He swept his neck in the direction of that voice, his heart beating at a rapid pace.

Could it be his Eleanora? There are many girls having the same name, though. But it's Everwood.

Rushing towards the person who mentioned Eleanora's name, he inquired, "Excuse me, do you have someone named Eleanora working for you?"

Surprised by the unexpected question, the staff member momentarily faltered but quickly regained composure before answering.
"Ummm, yeah. We do have one Eleanora in our staff. She is heading all the events we've had till now with her team members."

Emmet's heart quickened its pace, each beat echoing in his chest as anticipation surged through him.

"Eleanora Anderson?" He inquired, his voice tinged with hope, as he made one final attempt to confirm his suspicion.

"Yes! Eleanora Anderson. Do you know her?" The staff member exclaimed, surprised by his inquiry, caution in her voice.

Sweat beads formed on his forehead as his throat constricted, while he finally voiced out his desire.
"Yeah, I'm a relative. Can you take me to her?"
His voice came out timid, as if afraid if said any louder, everything would turn out to be false. He decided not to disclose his actual relation with her, not wanting any unwanted attention.

"Ohh! Okay, yes, please follow me. She's probably assisting our chef stefan in his stall. You know, she is one hardworking woman I've seen in a while. She is so diligent with her work...." Her voice faded as Emmet could only focus on one thing.

His sister Eleanora was here.

In Everwood.

After 4 years.

They reached the said stall, entering through the curtains amidst the crowd.

"Hey Eleanora! Someone's here to meet you."

Eleanora walked through behind the counter, wiping her hands with a handkerchief.
"Yes, coming."

As she walked up in the front, coming face to face with Emmet, her once loving brother; time stopped.

For the both of them.

As Emmet gazed at Eleanora's face, he couldn't help but be struck by how much she had grown since they last saw each other.
The guilt weighed heavily on him as he realized how many of her formative years he had missed out on.
That chance encounter at the café felt like a mere drop in the ocean compared to the vast expanse of time they had spent apart. It didn't count, not really.

For Eleanora, it was a whole different story. She felt surprised, happy, and distant, and finally, anger.
She promised herself never to come across anyone from her past, her once loving family, not even her older brother.

He had been her rock, her unwavering pillar of support during the loneliest moments of her life.
He gave her hope that there were people who still loved her, that their parents were just busy, and that they'll never abandon her. They'll come around for sure.

And then he left, too. He left for his high school and further studies across the country. Leaving little Eleanora all alone once again.
The loneliness and longing for a complete family ultimately led her to leave Everwood, leaving everything behind.

Now, as she sees her brother once again, months after their chance encounter at the cafe in the city, she doesn't know what to think. Sure, it was expected, but was she prepared?

"What do you want?" Her voice came out cold, maybe intentionally, maybe not, breaking the silence between them.

This wasn't the question Emmet was expecting. But could he really expect anything better? A warm greeting? A hug?
Some other pleasantries? He doesn't know.

He doesn't want to know.

All he knows is that he isn't going to let this chance at reconciliation go to waste.

"Can we talk? Please."
