Chp 14: Thanksgiving Special.

Pomni and Jax were sitting at a table in a bustling restaurant, their plates full of delicious Thanksgiving food. Pomni couldn't help but question why they were eating out on a holiday like Thanksgiving.

"So why are we eating at a restaurant on Thanksgiving?!" Pomni asked, looking up from her plate.

Jax smiled and replied, "Oh, I decided to do something a little special for you."

"But restaurants don't normally open on holidays like Thanksgiving," Pomni pointed out, a confused look on her face.

Jax chuckled, "That is true. That's why I did this while you were in the hospital."

Pomni's eyes widened in realization, "Oh, I see. I'm still sorry for how I was acting yesterday. I was just worried about you. We both know not sleeping for 6 days is highly dangerous. I'm almost shocked you're fully functional only getting 5 hours of sleep."

Jax waved off her concern, "Don't worry! Thanksgiving is about spending time with your family and loved ones."

Pomni nodded in understanding, "That reminds me! What are we?"

Jax tilted his head in confusion, "Huh? I mean... You're a man, I'm a woman who's been living together in the apartment for a while now. You've told me that we had a special kind of relationship. Can you explain what kind it is?"

Pomni looked at him with curiosity, waiting for his answer.

Jax smiled, "Well, it's kinda hard to explain but... You used to be a victim of my teasing."

Pomni's worried expression turned into a playful giggle, "Don't worry, not like that! This is a pure and wholesome story, not a questionable one."

As they continued their conversation, the waiter arrived with their order. Jax proudly listed off the dishes they had ordered, making Pomni's mouth water in anticipation.

"My, my, I see someone is quite a gentleman~" Pomni teased.

Jax chuckled along with her, the two of them sharing a light-hearted moment. As they finished their meal and prepared to leave, they encountered a woman outside the restaurant.

"Well, it's finally nice to meet you," the woman said, giving them a warm smile.

Pomni hesitated before responding, "H-hello? I don't want to sound rude, but are you a fan of ours?"

The woman nodded, "Why yes, I have been a fan of yours for quite some time now."

Jax, ever the blunt one, asked, "Quite some time you say? Well, prove it to me."

The woman began to recount details about their performances, showing that she had indeed been following their work closely.

T-thank you, ma'am. Pomni said, slightly worried.

Enough about the scrubs! And Pomni, what about me? Jax asked with a condescending tone in his voice. "You're quite the lady's man, whenever me and the other people are there early, I hear nothing but the women bragging about you. They would go on and on about you."

"Well of course they would, you won't find another guy better than me, I'm Amazon while them clowns are Temu!" He began to boast. "But what can I do you for? Because if you're hitting on me, sorry but-"

Pomni smacked Jax on his lower back, startling him. "The hell!?" He said angrily. "Don't be rude and say something like that about it!" The lady giggled softly as she covered her mouth.
