Chp 8: Not as it seems.

Jax sat on the couch, engrossed in reading comments on his phone as Pomni played "Super Smash Bros" on the TV. She was clearly getting frustrated with the game, particularly with the CPU opponent she was facing.

"Ugh! I have been playing this Donkey Kong CPU since today! Why is he so hard to beat?" she asked angrily.

Jax looked up from his phone and chuckled, "You're playing a level 4 while you're trying to main Pikachu, the first mistake was fighting a heavy set with a dwarf."

Pomni sighed and continued to play, determined to defeat her opponent. Jax, on the other hand, had something else in mind.

"Hm? Ay, Pompom! I'm curious, have you ever had a Pocky?" Jax asked.

"A pocky?" Pomni raised an eyebrow, unsure of what he was getting at.

He chuckled, "I'll take that as a no. Well, I want you to try one with me."

Pomni hesitated for a moment, knowing that Jax's mischievous smile often led to some sort of prank or teasing. But curiosity got the better of her, and she reluctantly agreed.

"Aw, what a shame, I guess you don't want a special gift for participating," he mumbled.

Pomni's eyes widened, "W-what!? A gift?"

"Oh, nothing, don't mind me," Jax teased, "just thinking out loud. It's all good, I doubt you would believe me since I love to mess with you. I guess I'll just eat these pockies all by myself."

Pomni quickly changed her mind, not wanting to miss out on a potential surprise. She scooted closer to Jax, eagerly waiting for her share.

"That's the spirit, here you go. Give it a try," Jax said as he handed her a Pocky.

But just as Pomni was about to eat it, Jax stopped her, "Hold it, Pomni."

Confused, she looked at him, only to have him guide her on how to properly share the Pocky.

"You need to hold the cookie in place while I chew the other end," he explained with a mischievous grin.

Pomni's face flushed red, and her heart raced as Jax leaned in closer. She followed his lead, they both bit into the Pocky from opposite ends.

As they shared the sweet treat, Pomni couldn't help but feel flustered by Jax's proximity and playful antics. But before she could fully recover from the moment, he pulled out another Pocky, hinting at another round of sharing.

"Can I get the special prize now?" she asked nervously, her cheeks still tinged with pink.

Jax chuckled, "Sure, sure, I'll give it to you... After you have your share."

He gently pulled her closer, making her lay on her back as he leaned in to share yet another Pocky. Pomni's heart raced as she closed her eyes and opened her mouth, feeling a mix of uncontrollable excitement and embarrassment.

But just as they were about to repeat the act, the door suddenly flew open. Startled, Pomni and Jax turned to see a friend standing there, looking shocked and appalled.

"JAX! YOU FUCKING CREEP!" Zooble exclaimed.

"Zooble!? You're here!?" Pomni asked nervously as her face is beet red

"And kicking doors in" Jax added, "What are you? The Kool-Aid Man?"

Zooble, Ragatha, Gangle, and Kinger walked into the room to find Jax making inappropriate and suggestive comments towards Pomni. Shocked and outraged by what they had just witnessed, Zooble immediately took action and drop kicked Jax off the couch.
