Forever Beside You

Part 7

Joong, Dunk, Pond, Phuwin, Joke and Zo hanging around in the university basketball court in one evening after the class. Joong, Pond and Joke were playing basketball and Dunk, Phuwin and Zo were watching them. Ryu came to them seeing them playing.

"Hey Ryu, wanna play a game?" Joke asked as he saw Ryu coming.

Ryu looked at Joong unsure of  what to do. Joong ignored Ryu and keep playing with the ball.

"Go bro. Didn't you said you played basketball when you were in Germany." Phuwin encouraged Ryu to play.

They played two by two. Joong and Pond were on one team and Joke and Ryu were on the other.

It was an intense game as they all could feel the tension between Joong and Ryu. Joong took every chance he got to tackle Ryu. Ryu didn't go easy on Joong either. After a tough game Joong and Pond won the game. They all came and sat on the court with others after the game.

"Pond, don't come near me. You are all sweaty." Phuwin said trying to push Pond away from him. Pond was trying to hug Phuwin. Everyone laughed at their playfulness.

Joke went to Zo and Zo gave Joke some tissues before he could hug him. Joke pout and told Zo to wipe his sweat for him. Zo shook his head but wiped Joke's face. Dunk looked away from them and took his phone to look at it.

"God, please save us from this misery." Joong dramatically said acting like he was praying to good.

"Just find someone for you. So you don't need to pray to god." Pond teased Joong. Joong tried to kick Pond but Pond dodged it on time.

"What about you Ryu? Are you still single?" Joke asked looking at Ryu. Ryu smiled.

"Yeah. Still single." Ryu said. But everyone noticed that he was looking at Dunk. Dunk didn't had any clue though.

"Are you currently liking someone?" Pond asked. He clearly saw Joong clenched his hands when Ryu looked at Dunk with dreamy eyes. Pond wanted to tease Joong a bit.

"Hmmm. But he has no clue about that."

"Who?" Dunk asked out of nowhere as he didn't hear the previous conversation. Everyone looked at Dunk in disbelief except Joong. He was somewhat happy that Dunk didn't pay Ryu his attention.

"Did you all get the  invitation for the party this weekend?" Joong asked. Everyone noded.

"You also got invited?" Dunk asked Ryu surprised.

"Yeah, Didn't I said Mr Ayadin and my father are friends." Dunk remembered and nodded his head.

"Oh right, about the party, Dunk, can you be my date for the night." Joong asked looking at Dunk. For the past years Dunk was always Joong's date for the parties.  None of them had a partner to go with so they always go together as friends. Dunk was about to say yes to Joong but Ryu beat to him.

"No he can't. He is going to be my date. Right Dunk?" Ryu turned Dunk towards him. Dunk looked at Ryu confused as he didn't remember agreeing with Ryu for something like that.

"Did you asked him already?" Joong asked raising his eyebrows. His face had turned red with anger.

"No, I was going to ask him today."

"Well, I asked him first. You can find someone else." Joong turned Dunk towards him.

Everyone was watching Joong and Ryu fight over Dunk and Pond was smirking. Then he had a nice idea.

"Stop it both of you. Why don't you let Dunk to choose." Pond said.

Everyone looked at Dunk and Dunk turned red with embarrassment. He looked at Joong and Ryu.
