Forever Beside You

Part 16

It was hard for Joong to sleep on the couch for a long time. He woke up in the middle of the night. He couldn't sleep any longer. He sighed and looked at the bed to see the sleeping figure. To his surprise the bed was empty.

Panic rose in Joong as he thought Dunk went somewhere in the middle of the night. A lot of unsettling thoughts occupied his mind. He got up from the chair and looked for Dunk. Joong saw the balcony door was open. He clearly remembered he closed it. He slowly went to the door and looked outside. To Joong's relief he saw Dunk standing at the edge of the balcony. He was leaning in the railing as he look down at the garden below.

Dunk's mind was everywhere. He couldn't sleep peacefully. So he got up and came to the balcony. Cold breeze flew through him making him shiver. He thought of everything that happened that night. He was happy with everything that day. He had a happy dinner with their families. Then he got to spend the night with Joong. They were fine until their past came to them hunting their happiness.

Suddenly Dunk felt something wrapped around him. He was startled. But realised it was a blanket.

"What are you doing out here in cold?" Joong's soft voice came behind him. Dunk turned around and looked at Joong. Joong was looking at him worriedly.

"Nothing. I just couldn't sleep." Dunk walked passed Joong to go back to room. But Joong grabbed his hand and stopped him.

"Dunk, are you mad with me? I'm sorry na."

"I'm not mad at you Joong. I'm hurt. Why did you do that?" Dunk's voice was soft yet broken. Joong could clearly feel the hurt in his voice.

"I was scared Dunk. I thought of telling you after we got together. But I was scared you'll leave me if I told you the truth." Joong said looking down. He felt so guilty that he couldn't look at Dunk in the eyes.

Dunk touched his cheeks and made Joong looked at him. Dunk could see the vulnerability and fear in his eyes. He felt bad for Joong. He knew how hard it was for Joong to got together with him. He really couldn't blame Joong for hiding it.

"Do you think my love for you is that weak?" Dunk asked.

"If you told me it earlier it would hurt me less Joong." Dunk caressed Joong's cheek. Joong hold Dunk's hand.

"I didn't want to hurt you at all Dunk. I love you so much. Please forgive me na." Joong said showing his puppy eyes. Dunk smiled at that.

"How can I stay mad with you when you show me those eyes." Dunk pinched Joong's both cheeks smiling. A relief washed over Joong's face and he hugged Dunk tightly.

"Thank you Dunk. I love you so much." Joong said.

"I love you too Joong."

"I promise Dunk. I will never hide anything from you again." Joong said and kissed Dunk's forehead. They looked at eachother. Both of them showing the love that they have for the other.

"We have some unfinished work." Joong said smirking. But Dunk looked confused.

"What?"

Joong put his hand around Dunk's waist and pulled him closer. Then he grabbed Dunk by his ass.

"Joong- " Dunk realised what Joong was trying to do. He couldn't say that he was not excited too.

"What? You stopped me in the middle because of a damn scarf." Joong said while trying to kiss Dunk's neck. Dunk was trying his best to push Joong but Joong's grip was strong.

"At least let's go inside the room. We are in the balcony."

"Don't worry there's no one in the outside at this hour. But if you insist-" Then Joong carried Dunk in bridal style. Dunk squeaked with surprise and hold onto Joong's neck. Joong went inside the room and closed the door. Then he put Dunk on the bed carefully and hovered over him. He looked at Dunk on the eyes to see if there was any hesitation. He didn't want to do anything by force. Dunk was looking back at him with his doe eyes but there were no any hesitation. So Joong took the initiate and leaned into kiss him.

A/N:

I know I know.. Dunk is too easy. He forgive easily. He can't stay mad with Joong for long.. 😁😁😁

I'm sad to say this.. But we are nearing to the end of this story..
