Forever Beside You

Part 14

It was already the graduation time. There were only about a month left before the graduation. They decided to have a early graduation party with their small circle of friends.

It's been about weeks since Joong and Dunk started dating. But they still haven't told their friends about it. And they decided to announce it at the graduation party.

They booked a restaurant for their party. Joke, Zo, Pond, Phuwin, Ryu, and Joong were already there. But Dunk was getting late.

"Where is he?" Phuwin asked particularly no one.

"Should be here soon. He said he is going to pick up his cousin who is  coming from Canada." Joong said. As Joong said that he saw Dunk coming into the restaurant. There was another boy behind him. Both of them came to their table. Dunk sat beside Joong and the other boy sat beside Ryu.

"Guys, meet my cousin Java. He just landed from Canada. Nong Java, this is my friends." Dunk introduced each other. Everyone greeted Java and welcomed him warmly.

After introducing Java to athers Dunk looked at Joong and Joong looked back at him. He smiled at Dunk and took his hand in his giving Dunk the strength.

"Guys, there is something we need to tell you." Joong said as everyone settled down to eat. All of them looked at him.

Joong raised their interwind hands to others.

"We are dating." Joong said smiling. Dunk was so shy so he kept looking down. For a moment the whole table went silent. Dunk raised his head and looked at his friends. Pond was the first one to break the silence.

"Finally. It took you guys ages. Congratulations my friends."

"I'm really happy for you brother. Congratulations." Joke said and tapped on Joong's shoulder. All the others congratulate them.

Ryu felt a tug in his heart. All these time his feelings towards Dunk was real. He knew it was only a matter of time before Joong and Dunk start dating. He was preparing his heart. But he didn't thought it would hurt that much. Nevertheless he was happy for Dunk.

"P Ryu, do you also studied computer engineering as P Dunk?" A voice beside him brought him back. He looked at the person beside him. He had the same cheerful smile as Dunk. Ryu felt warm looking at him.

"Yes, I am." Java started to speak animatedly with Ryu. Everyone in the table realised they become so close in the first day. Dunk was happy for his cousin too. He knew Ryu was not a bad person.

Joong put his hand around Dunk's shoulder and pulled him closer.

"How do you feel?" He wishpered.

"Feels like someone took off a heavy weight from my shoulder." Dunk said back. Joong sniff kissed Dunk's cheek.

"Oi oi.. I know you just started dating. But don't do that in front of us." Phuwin said seeing Joong and Dunk being all lovely dovely.

"Oh you guys were always like that in front of us. You know how much we have to suffer because of you four." Joong pointed his finger towards PondPhuwin and JokeZo. They all laughed at that.

After the party all went their separate ways. Ryu promised Dunk to drop off Java. Dunk thanked Ryu and went with Joong. They decided to walk in the park before they go home.

They walked around the park hand in hand. The night air was cool and crisp. A small breeze flow through the park rustling the leaves. Dunk shivered with cold. Joong noticed. He let go off Dunk's hand and took off his jacket. Then he put it on Dunk and pulled him closer to him. They sat on a bench watching stars twinkling. Joong put his hand around Dunk's shoulder and hugged him closer. Dunk put his hands around Joong's waist and put his head on Joong's shoulder.
