Forever Beside You

Part 8

Joong came to the rooftop of his house with Dunk. They used to play there as kids.

"It's okay Dunk. You can cry now." Joong said as he held Dunk tight. Dunk broke down in Joong's embrace. He cried his heart out. He let go of all his sadness. Tears filled in Joong's eyes as he saw how heart broken Dunk was. Joong just wished to turn back time. So he could stop Dunk from falling in live with Joke.

After half an hour later Joong and Dunk went back to the party room.

"Oh Dunk, where have you been?" Ryu came to Dunk as soon as he saw Dunk come to room. He saw Joong was coming behind Dunk.

"We had some matter to attend." Joong said nonchalantly. Dunk was greatful that Joong was there with him. He didn't know what to say to Ryu.

"I wanted to ask you if you want to dance with me." Ryu said. Dunk looked at the dance floor. He saw Joke and Zo dancing in the middle. They were so close with each other. Dunk knew he can't go there to dance. He would break down again.

"No Ryu, I don't want to dance." Dunk said giving Ryu a small smile. He felt bad about rejecting Ryu.

"He is my date. If he want to dance he can dance with me." Joong said glaring at Ryu.  He didn't like that Ryu getting closer to Dunk.

"Let's go and sit Joong. I'm tired." Dunk dragged Joong with him. He didn't want Joong to start a fight with Ryu. Joong obeyed and followed Dunk.

"Seriously Joong, What happened between you and Ryu? You always try to jump on his neck." Dunk asked as they sit at a table.

"Well, it was a childhood rivalry. When we were in Germany there was this girl I had a crush on."

"What? You had a puppy love?" Dunk asked suprised. His eyes sparkled with enthusiasm.

"Stop teasing me. Or I won't tell you the story."  Joong said pouting.

"Okay okay." Dunk chuckled.

"She, Ryu, Joke and I used to play together. Ryu and Joke knew I like her. I was too shy to tell her that. And I didn't let Ryu or Joke to tell her either. They promised they won't. But one day Ryu had a fight with me and he told her that I like her."

"Ooo Then? What did she said?"

"She said she didn't like me. Instead she said she likes Ryu. I was so sad back then."

"Is that why you are mad at Ryu? Because the girl liked him?"

"No, I'm mad because he broke the promise. He was my friend." Dunk saw a small sadness in Joong's eyes. He knew deep down that Joong still consider Ryu as his friend. Otherwise he wouldn't even bother to talk to him.

"So where is she now? Do you still like her?" Dunk asked. Excitement was clearly visible in his eyes.

"I don't know. After we came from Germany I lost contact with her. And it was just a puppy love. I don't like her anymore."

"Seriously Joong, I was always curious. Why don't you date anyone? I saw lot of girls and boys try to approach you. But you are too cold to them. You'll be single forever." Dunk asked curiously.

"What if I told you I like someone?? But I am invisible to that person." Joong said. His eyes curiously observing Dunk's face. Dunk's eyes lit up with excitement again.

"Wow, who is that? Do I know them?" Dunk asked. His eyes big with excitement.

"Hmmm. May be." Joong said. Little smirk in his face.

"Oh tell me Joong who is that?"

"I won't tell you." Joong said teasingly.

"Ohhoo too mean." Dunk said pouting.
