Ambika rested against a mango tree and watched Rudraksha as he pulled on his kurta.

"How many women have you had sex with before me?" she asked. Knowing very well that he was a virgin.

He paused, turning slowly to face her, adjusting his clothes with a puzzled expression. "Do you think I'm the kind of person who would have sex with anyone?"

She shook her head. "No. But..." She trailed off, her gaze dropping to her ankles, her fingers fidgeting with the bells of her anklet.

"You are my first. You are the first person to have sex with me. You took my virginity, you were my first." he clarified, stepping closer.

She looked up at him nervously, his eyes gleaming with sincerity.

So she was the only one tainted, she thought, feeling a pang of guilt.

She decided to brush off the negative feeling and enjoy their rare moments of happiness.

"So that's why you were like that..." she whispered, looking away and resting her head on her knees.

He grew worried. "What do you mean? How was I?"

She sighed and looked back at him. "Rough and... like a beast."

He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. "Yes... You should have told me to stop. I would have stopped."

"I told you, but you didn't listen," she added.

His eyes widened in horror and regret. "Really?! I am so sorry," He sighed and ran his hands over his hair in frustration,"Next time, I will keep it in mind, I swear!"

She smiled at him. "You still care about me?"

He looked at her, confused. "Of course, I do."

She smiled at him. "Thank you."

He stuck out his hand for her to hold. She looked at his waiting hand, sighed, and took it.

She understood that he cared for her, that he lusted over her, and that he claimed to love her. But she couldn't feel that love yet. She also understood that whatever was happening between them was temporary and would soon fade away. Some things aren't meant to last.

Love is such a weird thing, she thought. Someone will sacrifice their life for another, while the other runs around just for a touch. I will let you use me and throw me away when you feel like it, because this will be MY sacrifice for love.

She stood up, and they started walking towards the exit.

Soon, Damru came running towards them with a big smile. "Pipi?" he called out.

(Pipi, is a pet name for calling father's sisters)

Ambika picked him up. "Damru, what are you doing here all alone?"

"Maa said you and Rudraksha mamu were here, so I came."

(Mamu/Mama: mother's brother)

Rudraksha noticed them together, and a small smile tugged at his lips. It was just like the dream he had a few days ago.

"But still, you shouldn't have come here all alone," Rudraksha added.

"Okay, baba, sorry!" Damru said.

"Sorry won't cut it, baby boy. You have to compensate," Ambika smirked.

"What?" he asked, frustrated.

"Please sneak some of your chocolates into my room," she said with a mischievous grin.

"But what if Dida finds out? She doesn't like it when you eat chocolates-"
