Rudraksha pulled up outside Ambika's dancing institute on his motorcycle. She swung off, adjusting her skirt.

Ambika grinned at him. "Thanks for the ride, Rudra. Don't forget, we have our dinner date tonight."

Rudraksha's response was lukewarm. "Yeah, dinner tonight."

Ambika's excitement was palpable. "So I will be there at 8 as you told—"

Rudraksha cut her off with a nod. "Sure, sounds good."

Ambika's smile faltered at his lack of enthusiasm. "You okay, Rudra? You seem distracted."

Rudraksha avoided her gaze. "I am fine, Ambika. I'll see you tonight." Without waiting for her reply, he revved the engine and rode off, leaving Ambika standing outside the institute, her enthusiasm deflating.

Ambika's heart sank at Rudraksha's indifferent response. She couldn't help but wonder why he seemed so disinterested, especially when he was the one who had initially suggested they go out for dinner. A wave of disappointment washed over her.

Meanwhile, Rudraksha's mind was elsewhere as he rode away. The term "date" that Ambika used to refer to their dinner didn't sit well with him. He had made it clear to himself that their marriage lacked any romantic love, and he resented the notion of their evening plans being labeled as such.

Ambika entered the institute to find her colleague Kriti animatedly talking to another dancer.

Kriti grinned. "Oh Ambika, Guess what happened I gifted my husband the ring I was talking about!"

Ambika forced a smile. "That's wonderful, Kriti. How did he react?"

Kriti's eyes sparkled. "He was so happy and loved it, he couldn't wait to wear it and go out with me!"

The other dancer chimed in. "Wow, you really know how to make him happy, Kriti."

Ambika's thoughts drifted to her own situation with Rudraksha, but she pushed them aside. "That's great, Kriti. I'm glad he loved the gift."

Kriti turned to Ambika. "What about you? Any special plans with Rudraksha?"

Ambika hesitated. "We're going out for dinner tonight."

Kriti's enthusiasm was undiminished. "That sounds lovely! Have fun, Ambika."

Ambika managed another smile, but inside, her heart felt heavy. She couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to have a husband who was genuinely excited about spending time together.

As Kriti and Ambika continued their conversation, the other dancers joined in, bustling around the room, preparing for their upcoming dance session.

Kriti laughed. "You're right, girls. We often forget that boys deserve thoughtful gifts too!"

One of the dancers, Ria, chimed in while tying her ghungroo. "Absolutely! It's not just about receiving gifts; it's about showing appreciation."

Another dancer, Ananya, nodded in agreement as she fixed her hair in a bun. "I think it's important to make our partners feel special and valued."

Ambika smiled, though her mind was elsewhere. She quietly tied her own ghungroo, lost in thoughts about Rudraksha and their upcoming dinner. The conversation around her was a welcome distraction from her own concerns.

Kriti, still buzzing from the excitement of her husband's reaction to the gift, couldn't resist sharing more about her blissful marriage.

"You know, I feel so lucky to have Vikram," Kriti gushed, her eyes sparkling. "He's always so appreciative of the little things I do for him."
