Chapter 4

"This is stupid." Shoto stood up, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have come..."

"Sit back down." Hagakure pushed him back onto the bed.

He looked at them and saw that they weren't going to be letting him go anytime soon. He sighed and looked down at his hands. "I don't... I've never really cared about my appearance. When my mo... when I got my scar... I was upset of course. But I was homeschooled and I barely left the house, so I didn't have people constantly commenting on it, or looking at me weird..."

"But then you came to UA..." Jiro said sympathetically.

He nodded. "My father made such a big deal about sending me here, so I quickly became the focus of a lot of people's attention all at once. Now, all people do is talk about my scar. The kids today... they were scared of me..."

Yaoyorozu wrapped an arm around his shoulder, as tears started to well up in his eyes. All the girls were shocked. None of them had ever seen Todoroki show emotion like this.

"I just thought... Maybe I could be a better hero... if I looked... normal..."

"Oh Todoroki..." at this point, all the girls hopped onto the bed and wrapped him in a hug. Tears started dripping down his cheeks, but none of them minded.

"Todoroki, you're wonderful as you are," Uraraka assured.

"You don't need to change your appearance just because of some dumb kids," Tsu added.

"I've thought you were like... super attractive, since like, the first day of school," Hagkure admitted.

He froze, and his cheeks turned bright red. "What?"

They all laughed, "You're our favorite for another reason."

He watched in confusion, as Mina got up, and brought over a whiteboard that had been tucked in the corner. "See?"

Shoto looked at the list and was shocked to see a picture of every boy in their class stuck to it. Next to each picture was a number and a brief description. "13 – Bakugo: Not attractive and has too many anger issues." "5 – Ojiro: Cute, but kind of quiet." "-1,000 – Mineta: Perv." "2 – Midoriya: super cute, and very sweet."

To his surprise, his name was number 1 on the list. "1 – Todoroki: crazy attractive, very selfless, and caring."

"I... don't get it..." his head cocked to the side, and their hearts swooned.
