-Start of Chapter 19-

"Whatchaaa thinkinn sauur hard boutt?" my train of thoughts is broken by her voice.

I stammer, "Oh-...um... N-Nothing."

She narrows her eyes, her spoon still in her mouth, "Did anyone ever tell you that you look cute when you're thinking hard?"

Startled, I furrow my eyebrows.

"Fuck that. You look cute when your doing annnything! How? Its nott faiir!"

I laugh trying quieten down my racing heart.

As Y/N continues to giggle and eat her ice cream, she keeps glancing at me, her cheeks flushed from both the alcohol and the cold treat.

"You know, Soobin." she says, her words still slurred, "You're just... saurr cute. Like, really, really cute. And your dimples are sauurr fuckkingg perfectt."

I laugh, feeling my own cheeks heat up. "Okay, enough ice cream for you." I say, gently taking the bowl from her hands and placing it on the table.

"Aww, but whyyy?" she pouts, looking up at me with those big, innocent eyes.

"Because." I say, smiling down at her, "You need to get some sleep. Come on." I reach out and pull her to her feet, her steps still wobbly.

"Where are we going?" she asks, blinking up at me as I guide her towards the stairs.

"Upstairs. Seojun told me to make sure you get to bed." I explain, leading her carefully up the steps.

Somehow I manage to make her brush her teeth and get her changed.

Seojun was right. Just throw her in a room with her clothes and she'll change.

Finally, I guide her to her bed, and she sits on the edge, looking up at me with those wide, drunken eyes.

"Soobin." she says suddenly, wrapping her arms around me in a tight hug. "You're like a plushie. So easy to cuddle."

I freeze, my heart pounding and my face burning. She hugs me tighter, and I can feel the warmth of her body against mine.

"Y-Y/N..."

"Stay." she whispers, her eyes pleading.

After a moment, I gently pull her off and push her back onto the bed, tucking her in. "Alright, Y/N. Time to sleep."

I turn to leave, but she grabs my arm and pulls me down with surprising strength. I nearly fall on top of her, catching myself with my hands on either side of her.

Jeez! Was she always this strong?... Or am I just really weak?

My face hovers inches from hers, and I'm mesmerized by her beauty. Her eyes catch the soft light, making them shine. Her smooth skin glows, and her pink lips are slightly parted. Her tousled hair frames her face perfectly. In this moment, she looks breath taking, and I can't look away.

"Soobin..." she whispers, her voice soft and almost pleading. "Goodnight kiss?"

I chuckle softly, trying to keep my composure. "What are you? A kid?"

She pouts, her lips so close to mine that I can feel her breath. "Please? Just one?"

The request is so innocent, yet it sends a shiver down my spine. My resolve weakens, and I find myself leaning in, unable to resist her. Her eyes flutter shut, and I can feel the heat radiating from her cheeks.
