~Wohooo i finally updatedd (im not dead okay? 2 stories is hard to take care of.)~

-Start of Chapter 41-

I wake up to the soft glow of sunlight sneaking through the curtains. My eyes are still half-closed, and I can already tell it's way too early for this. Yawning, I stretch, roll out of bed, and immediately shuffle toward the bathroom like a zombie. My hair's a mess, and I feel like I might still be dreaming.

I stop at the door and knock half-heartedly. "Yah Choi Soobin, you in there?"

There's a muffled response. "Yeahhh."

"Please tell me you're wearing a shirt this time." I mumble, leaning my head against the door. I wait for his answer, but there's just silence.

I sigh, rolling my eyes. "Whatever. Not like I haven't seen it basically every day." Without waiting for a proper reply, I push the door open.

And, of course, there he is—shirtless, damp hair sticking to his forehead, toothbrush in his mouth, and foam all over his lips. He's brushing his teeth with all the energy of someone half asleep, like this is the most normal thing in the world.

I would've kicked him out his own bathroom only if he didn't look so fucking hot right now.

"Morning." I grumble, grabbing my toothbrush from the sink.

Soobin glances at me through the mirror, his mouth full of toothpaste, completely unfazed by me barging in. "Morning." he mumbles back, voice muffled.

I eye him as I squeeze out some toothpaste. "You know, for a guy who practically lives shirtless, you could at least make it interesting." I tease, raising an eyebrow.

Soobin spits out the toothpaste, rinsing his mouth. "Interesting? You want me to flex or something?" He winks, clearly more awake now, and pulls on a shirt casually, as if I didn't just walk in on him shirtless for the past week.

I roll my eyes, but there's a playful smile creeping up on my face. "Please don't. It's already traumatic enough seeing this every morning."

He laughs, leaning against the sink and crossing his arms. "You're acting like you don't enjoy the view."

I snort, brushing my teeth. "Keep dreaming, Soobin."

He just grins, running a hand through his hair like he's in some kind of toothpaste commercial. "You love it."

I swat his arm with my toothbrush. "Get out before you inflate that ego any more."

He gives me one last smirk before sauntering out of the bathroom, leaving me to finish brushing my teeth, still shaking my head. How did I get used to this chaos so quickly?

I'm out the door, sliding my bag over my shoulder when I hear footsteps rushing behind me. Of course, Beomgyu's leaving at the same time—because why wouldn't he be? He jogs up, throwing a casual arm around my shoulders like we're old pals heading to class together.

"Where are you headed?" he asks, grin already tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Work?"

"Yup." I reply, adjusting my bag. "You?"

"Got this interview first thing—" Beomgyu says with a lazy shrug, then gives me a sidelong glance. "And then, oh yeah, the recording session... y'know, where I get to work with Soobin hyung."
