Small town kid is ushered into an intoxicating but dangerous life of crime. ••• "Usually, it happens when you're 12 or 13, but my parents wanted the same monsignor who baptized me and Veronica. Monsignor Murphy, he's a friend of the family, to confirm me, as well." Quinn tells Archie as they sit on the couch in the living room of the Pembrooke.
"Wow, so this is a big deal, then?" Archie asks.
"Yes. Especially to my mom and dad. Well, more like my whole family. A lot of them are coming in for it." Quinn tells him.
"So, do you have to...memorize stuff?" Archie asks.
"Durning the ceremony, Monsignor will ask me to renounce Satan, which, of course I will. But otherwise, you mostly do things in advance. Like picking a sponsor. I asked my abuelita. And performing charitable works. I'm volunteering at a soup kitchen." Quinn tells him.
"There she is. Where's your dress?" Hiram asks as he walks over to the couch and Archie and Quinn stand up and Quinn turns to face him.
"I took it off earlier I went before Veronica and they just finished with her." Quinn tells him.
"Doesn't matter. My beautiful daughters, confirmed in front of my family...our family. Oh, mija, you've made me the happiest and the proudest father alive." Hiram tells her.
"Thanks, daddy." Quinn tells him. ••• "I already invited Archie, but I want you guys to be there, as well." Quinn tells her friends as she and Veronica sit with them in the student lounge,
"Usually these kinds of events, baptisms, confirmations are family-only, but since it's all about me and Quinn and you guys are our chosen family, I pulled a few strings and reserved you a pew." Veronica tells them.
"What is the dress code?" Kevin asks.
"Catholic chic. So, dresses for the girls, veils optional. And coats and ties for the boys." Veronica tells him.
"Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper, please report to the principal's office. Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper to the principal's office." Weatherbee announces into the intercom. ••• "Ooh. Is that for me?" Quinn asks as she walks over to the dinning room table and look at the present sitting on it.
"It is. It's a confirmation present from the St. Clairs, of all people." Hermonie tells her.
"What? Why would they think they have the right to do that after everything that Nick put me through?" Quinn asks.
"It's what families in our business do. Even when we're at war, we give gifts. To show respect. Or, in this case, to try and make amends." Hermonie tells her.
"Whatever it is, send it back, burn it, regift it, I don't care I don't want it." Quinn tells her.
"Quinn...Simone St. Clair called to follow up on this gift. She said that Archie paid Nick an unfriendly visit. Is that true?" Hermonie tells her. ••• "We all got the eviction notices, but I swear to you...no one is going anywhere. But the heat's been on us since Picken's Day and they're using that damn statue as an excuse to turn it up. But if we're gonna fix this, I gotta ask: is anyone in this room responsible for cutting off Pickens' head?" FP says as he stands on the stage inside the Whyte Wrym.
