One sheet of paper. That's all it took. To confirm everything Betty had feared...that she let a dangerous stranger into her house.

"Now, for our Register readers, why would you, Hermonie Lodge, run for Mayor of Riverdale?" Hal asks mom as me, Veronica and Kevin sit on the couch watching them.

"Every year, our population decreases. More and more businesses close. We're at a deficit. We need to change that equation before it's too late. That is why Lodge industries has secured a bid for a maximum-security prison on the Southside. Now, that means jobs, economic growth, stability. It'll give Riverdale its future back." mom tells him.

"You know, I have to ask. You're building a prison on the bones of a school. Are you okay with that?" Hal asks.

"Losing a school is a tough pill to swallow, but once our correctional facility is up and running, a quarter of our earnings are gonna be funneled directly into education. We are building a brand-new wing at Riverdale High." mom tells him.

"Quinn, are you gonna follow in your mother's footsteps and run for Student Body President in the upcoming election? Or are you going to be more presentable with the Southside Serpents?" Hal asks me.

"No, that's not who I am being Student Body President isn't something I like to do, but to answer your Serpent question if they need me then I'll be there for Serpents just like they would for me they're my family." I tell him.

"And Veronica, what about you? Are you going to run for Student Body President?" Hal asks her.

"Maybe. If I don't have my hands full, campaigning for my mom. I'm excited to show Riverdale that she's more than just a housewife." Veronica tells him.

"And speaking of housewives...we have a very special guest. Bravo's very own Andy Cohen. Mr. Cohen, what brings you to Riverdale?" Hal asks.

"I'm here to endorse my great friend, Hermonie Lodge. She's a very savvy businesswoman. She's always three steps ahead of everyone around her. She's a fighter too. She doesn't give up. I'll love to have her in my corner." Andy tells him.

"I just loved your guy's spin piece in the paper." Jughead tells me and Veronica as we all sit in the cafeteria with our lunch in front of us.

"Can we not, Jughead?" Veronica asks him.

"I agree with her on that." I tell Jughead.

"Did you know about Southside High closing? Or the prison?" Jughead asks us.

"Of course not. It was all their parents' doing. Right, V, Q?" Betty asks and me and Archie look at each other.

"They didn't know, Jughead, okay? So back off!" Archie tells him.

"That's fine. I have to conserve my energy anyhow. I'm going on a hunger strike to protest Southside High closing and to get it reopened. What?" Jughead says as Archie scoffs and then laughs.
