"Here's your schedule for the next three days, Mr. Andrews. Our mom's doing an Eva Peron-like rainbow tour. Shaking the trees one last time before election night. I took the liberty of booking you right behind her so that people know they have a choice." Veronica tells Fred as we all stand in his kitchen, well, they stand Archie made me sit down.

"Well, I...appreciate that, Veronica, for what it's worth, but...everybody's already saying that your parents saved Riverdale after the riot, that it was their guy, Minetta, who put out the fires and rounded up the guilty parties." Fred tells her.

"We know the truth, dad, that Mr. Lodge doesn't want to save the town, he wants to take it over." Archie tells him and I lay my head onto the crook of my arms.

"Luckily, I won't rest until you're elected mayor, Mr. Andrews. Even if it means I have to put my own political mission aside." Veronica tells Fred.

"In what respect?" Fred asks.

"I'm no longer running for student council with Archie. Conspiring against our parents is proving to be a full-time job." Veronica tells him.

"Quinn, are you alright?" Fred asks me and I raise my head up to look at him.

"Yea, I just hurt from being shot and all." I tell him.

"Why don't you take your pain relivers?" Fred asks me.

"Oh, I would if I could Mr. Andrews but someone accidentally dumped them all down the sink last night and I can't get my new ones until the end of next week." I tell him.

"I said I was sorry! When will you forgive me?" Veronica exclaims.

"When I'm not in pain anymore." I tell her and then Archie's phone rings and he answers it.

"Hey, Eddie, any news?" Archie asks.

"I'll be out of here first thing tomorrow." Jughead tells us as he and Betty sit on the hospital bed, and I sit in Archie's lap as he sits in the chair.

"That's good, Jug. Because we still need your brain. There's another mystery to solve. Mr. Cooper was at the town hall when some other Black Hood took shots at the candidates. And he was at home with Betty and Mrs. Cooper when another Black Hood, probably the same as the one at town hall, came after me and my dad. So..." Archie tells him.

"Well, a second Black Hood's attacks at the town hall and on your dad seem to indicate a political motive. Which to me suggests--" Jughead says and glances between me and Veronica and Veronica jumps in.

"That our father's behind them? I don't disagree." Veronica tells him.

"With Fred out of the way mom's path to victory is that much more assured." I tell them.

"So, if we're gonna stop Hiram, we've got to do it now. Once the Lodges are in control of the mayor's office, they'll be untouchable." Archie tells us.

"Yeah, but do you think Hiram would really put on a black hood and start shooting at people for a mayorship?" Jughead asks.
