The game was going well, Alex making most goals as always but there was also something off. The opponent team's captain wasn't going off on him.
One more minute to go, for a team to win, but, which one?
They were both on the same points.
The other team was good at assisting, while Alex's team was good at movements.
Thirty seconds more. I was sweating heavily, might be more than Alex was.
I'm somehow more stressed for the trophy than he is.
I exhaled a sigh of relief as Alex made the last goal.
We won.
I merrily bounced up from my seat and turned to Elias who was frowning and clapping his hands at his so called enemy.
Never mind, he seemed a bit excited.
"Getting along with your enemy-friend, are you?" I playfully nudged him by the elbow.
"That's not happening even if God wishes for it to," He rolled his eyes.
"I'll go meet him then, you coming?" I asked him as I turned back.
"Nah, I'm good," He said and Jenna finally stood up, glaring at me for God knows how much time.
I just returned her glare and started walking to the athletes' room.
"Oh and- bro, your girlfriend's here!" Steven quirked up as he spotted me walking towards them.
An unbothered Liam was standing with a book on one of his hands and patting Alex's back with the other.
These were actually the only people who could act like Alex is their actual brother and do any fun thing with him without Alex minding.
Maybe me too...
Alex smirked at me, pulling me close by the waist.
"You like basketball better, huh?" He whispered at me and I understood he was talking about Elias.
"No, it's just-" I started whispering back when he pushed a hand at my lips, stopping me.
"Man, there's people in here, you can't do it right now!" Liam snapped at him and Steven gasped teasingly, "Oh right! There's people in here, specifically, the same ones thinking that your girl is dating another guy,".
Alex frowned and sighed at the same time, letting me go and turning to face Liam and Steven.
They both raised their heads up at him, like they were infinity percent sure that Alex wouldn't do any harm to them, except for just scowling.
Which he did.
"Congratulations, for winning," I blurted out of nowhere and Alex turned back at me.
"I need a congratulations on holding my anger on Elias Brown, Starlight," He said huskily.
"That too," I whispered out, so that only he could hear me.
"But!" I started again as I remembered something. "I don't think jealousy is good," I said and smirked and winked at Alex, who was clearly unbothered by my response.
He pinned me against the nearest wall and leant in to whisper at my ear.
"I don't mind being jealous over you, Starlight," He whispered and stepped back.
Did he just say that he was actually jealous and he doesn't care if I say it to him?
This man...jealous over me?
