Chapter 27~ Perfection

Alex helped me by opening the door to the car after he got out.

I saw nothing but a huge concrete wall in front of me.

Everything around was silent, trees surrounding the area.

There were no sign of any buildings or houses, only the huge wall in front.

Alex walked up beside me as I kept staring at the wall in front, trying to figure out what it actually was.

I looked at Alex confused and he gave a smirk before walking to the wall.

He took his hand to a particular brick that was of a slightly different colour than all the other ones and pressed his thumb on it.

I watched as the concrete wall shuffled and got divided as my jaw dropped.

A huge mansion was behind this mere wall.

Alex walked back to me, taking my hands in his as we walked towards the mansion.

Two guards were guarding the gate.

Alex sent them his usual glare to which they bowed to him and opened the door, letting us in.

We got through another door, a huge room appeared in front of us.

There weren't much people there, I only saw three or four maids in uniform cleaning or doing some other house chores.

"Wow," I softly said and that caught Alex's attention.

"There's something you might want to see," He said as he pulled me towards an elevator.

After getting in, he pressed "6th" in the board and I was as awestruck as anyone would be.

He literally had eight floors in the mansion? And we're going to the sixth one?

As soon as the elevator door opened, Alex pulled me outside lightly and we walked to a room.

The door was painted golden, it was giving modern money vibes though.

He pressed his index finger on a small device kept in front of the door which has it opened in front of us.

My jaw dropped to the floor when the door slid open.

It was a huge room with a bookshelve to the side, that was covering one whole wall of the room.

The other side of the room had a large window and the currently setting sun was visible.

Then I noticed something, light music was playing on the background.

It was my favorite song.

I turned to Alex, wide eyed and asked him, "How did you know?".

He leaned towards me and pecked my cheek before looking into my eyes, "I'm observant,".

I giggled at him and went towards the window displaying the dreamy sunset.

I stared at it, it was truly beautiful.

I felt two arms wrap around my waist, holding a bouquet of lavenders.

I looked back through my shoulders and was met with a little smile on Alex's face.

"Come on! You know everything!" I chuckled at him and he hummed with his deep voice.

I turned back to face him as his hands were still wrapped around my waist, the flowers in his hands behind me.

"I saw book recommendations on your social media and also saw you reading whenever there's a free period. You always stare and look at the sky, specifically when the sun is going to set. You always have Airpods on, listening to music when your at the library or when your studying at school," He said softly into my ear and I felt myself blushing hard.
