Chapter 10 – Uh oh
Both Chanyeol and Mirae got a lot closer after 3 months', just like how close best friends are. They knew almost everything about each other. From what they hate, what they like, what kind of a person they are, to what colors and food they like.
They're falling for each other even deeper, but none of them made a move as they both thought that they wouldn't have a chance be together. Today, Chanyeol decided to bring Mirae for dinner again. Not a friendly dinner this time, but as a date.
He smiled as he looked into the mirror, checking his attire before nodding to himself. "Baek! I look great, right?" He asked Baekhyun.
Baekhyun nodded and walked off, smirking even though Chanyeol didn't catch the smirk. Chanyeol huffed and walked out of the room.
"When are you going to confess?" Baekhyun questioned and Chanyeol shrugged.
"I don't think I'll be confessing." He said.
"Why?" Baekhyun raised an eyebrow.
"She wouldn't like me back, Baek. I don't want to ruin our friendship."
Baekhyun rolled his eyes. "Come on, how sure are you? She even calls you 'jagiya' at times, yeol."
Chanyeol sighed and headed for the fridge for a drink. "That could be a pet name for us. Best friends do that, don't they?"
Baekhyun tiptoed and flicked Chanyeol's forehead. "You're really dumb sometimes." He shook his head and walked off.
"WHAT?" Chanyeol shouted but got no response from Baekhyun.
"Fine." He pouted and left the dorm.
"Notice it by yourself, you dumb giant." Baekhyun said to the air and shook his head.

"I'm here~" Chanyeol sang as he skipped into Mirae's office.
"What are you talking about? I'm not a freaking third party! The both of you broke up years ago, Lee Yoonhee! Don't push your luck too far." Mirae was facing the window and yelling to her phone, frustrated.
Chanyeol raised an eyebrow. 'Yoonhee? Why did she call Mirae?' He frowned, still keeping quiet.
"Yes, I like Chanyeol, I'm in love with Chanyeol, Park Chanyeol, the one you love right now, YOU HEARD ME?!" She continued, "GO AWAY, LEE YOONHEE. YOUR THREATS WON'T AFFECT ME." Mirae yelled before hanging the call. She turned around and noticed Chanyeol was standing there, stunned.
"C-Chanyeol?" She called out, but Chanyeol was still in shocked. She went forward to him and shake him lightly.
"Y-yah?" Still, no response from him. She sighed and shouted, "YAH PARK CHANYEOL!" Chanyeol jumped in shock and faced her.
"Oh yeah?"
Mirae rolled her eyes.
"Why are you here, standing in my office like a statue?"
Chanyeol smiled and said, "Let's go for a date."
Mirae gasped. "W-what? Date? We've had many dates before, Chanyeol. Plus I've work to do, can we skip this?"
Chanyeol shook his head with a smile. "Not the friendly dates we used to have,"
Mirae widened her eyes. "Then what kind of date?" Mirae asked.
"Relationship kind of date." He smirked.
"But I-" Chanyeol laughed.
"I heard everything, you can't deny it anymore. I know you're in love with me." He leaned in and smiled. She gulped and turned away. "Cute. So can we go now? I'm starving actually." He ruffled her hair before touching his stomach.
