Convincing others

They both decided to talk to Kaka and Kaaki about this in the coming two days. But nothing remained the same for him ever since that time he looked into her eyes. He was stunned, because she not just knew, but also understood him probably more than anyone ever.

He felt something twist in his chest that night, and since then every time he looked at her, something unsettling soared up inside him. He longed to stare into her eyes again, and get lost in them every single time. He now found everything about her beautiful. Her smile brightened something inside him, and he not just noticed, but now admired every gesture of hers, even the slightest batting of eyelashes. She had suddenly become every thing dear to him.

He had an idea about what this could be.

But he didn't want to rush to any extreme, especially when he didn't know what she felt.

Explaining his plans to Kaka wasn't very easy-going, but because Sindhuja supported the decision, Kaka did agree in the end. Kaaki however, was clearly not happy with this. She was even more upset with Sindhuja.

"Sindhu, I thought at least you were sensible! Do you think life is a game, where you can go around solving mysteries as a hobby and make a living from it?"

"Kaaki, but he's also going to earn from translations and-"

"Do you think it's going to be enough if you have kids tomorrow (in the future)? You need a secure job for looking after your family, which he already has!... People today struggle for a bank job, and here this boy is, leaving it for some hobby that wouldn't even last some months. And you, instead of showing him the right way as a wife, are supporting him? What is wrong with you two?!!"

Sindhuja tried to convince Kaaki, but wasn't very much successful.

Kaaki later talked about this with Kaka.

"I'm now concerned for Tapesh. What if he goes around with Felu for these cases leaving school behind? His education is important... And god forbid if he gets into some risky situation!"

"You don't worry about that, Felu is mature enough to understand Tapesh's priorities right now. He already assured me he wouldn't involve Tapesh in these things at the cost of his education or safety. And, Sindhu is there too..."

"Don't count on her! I don't know what pact both of them have signed. How have these two, whose quarrels took over the whole house, now suddenly teamed up so well and planned on something so large together?!"

"But that was what you wanted in the end, right? To see them get along together..."

"Yes, but not like this against us!"
