IS LOVE HERE TO STAY?

 Sharie seeing what she had drawn and was wanting to know what her mom had to say, she immediately called her mother on the phone, "mom, mom are you at home ? I need to show you something that I have done and need your opinion on it. I want to discuss it with you and grandma. May I come over to visit?"

Tanyia her mother replied "sure come on over now your grandmother is here and so is your brother, we will see what you did and discuss it with you when you bring your drawing over. Just bring it over and we will look at it and see what adjustment if any are needed to the design"

Sharie quickly placed her design in her portfolio to take with her to her mother's home, grabbing the car keys from the shelf by the garage and opening the garage door after getting in to the 5.3 GTO convertible turquios green corvette and starting to back out and leave, her path was blocked by a steele bronze gray jeep wrangler driven by none other than Ethan himself getting out with a bright cardinal red envelope addressed to her for the garden party given by his parents.

"Will you move your vehicle as I am about to leave now, this is urgent" Sharie firmly requested.

Ethan looking like he had just got off from a rig site "I will move after I hand you this invitation to dad's and mom's garden party on Sunday evening. I really would like for you to be there with me and see what goes on there with dad and mom. when you arrive at the front gate just have them call me and I will come and get you." sounding more like a be there or else kind of tone from him, which Sharie has never heard before. 

This sounded serious to her as she had just drawn his face to the design she had drawn, she took the invitation saying "I'll think about it."  and Ethan promptly turned and got into his jeep wrangler to head home after he delivered several more invitations his parents sent him to do.

Sharie walked into her mom's house and dropped her portfolio on the table along with the invitation to the Callsburg-Dakster's garden party. Her mom smiled as did her grandmother winking at her mom noticing the invitation of cardinal red color from the Callsburg-Dakster's garden party. Sharie immediately said "Oh no I'm not going to that party no way"

Her mom wanted to see her design that she had drawn and would help her where she needed it. Knowing that Sharie would deny all she wants, but would go to the garden party anyway at the last minute. When Sharie opened her portfolio up there was the design with the face staring right up at her and her mom knew that this was for Ethan as the sleeves were to long for her brother Sean, so they discussed how to cut the sleeve for the jacket and what material would be just right for the making of this jacket and the vest that was drawn as well as for the kind of pants that would go with the set and how to place pockets so that they did not hinder a man in the front. The material would be made of soft gaberdine the shade of sky blue for the vest, jacket and a darker blue for the pants would be flat feld seam for all of the design.

As Sharie had gathered the sky blue gaberdine that was soft washed she began to cut the sleeves with the linings along with the collar pieces and the yoke of the jacket and finally the bodice of the jacket with the length she had written down. beginning to stitch the material together with the flat feld seams and placing button holes where needed and then the buttons it was starting to look really nice her brother modeled it for her and he complained "It's to long"

Sharie "it's not for you, it's for someone else, you goof"

Sharie continued with the vest cutting out the placket areas for pockets and the neckline that would have the same yoke as the jacket in the back as well. She used the same stitching as on the jacket and designed the button holes to be exactly as those on the jacket yet placing different kind of buttons . The pants were the part she really hated due to the fact that she did not like to stitch the crotch area with the flat feld seam even though her grandmother had said it would work for the best especially when sewing in the zipper with a flap to help cover the ending of the zipper part of the front of the pants. using the darker blue gaberdine which is softer yet has a not so thin feel to it she cut out the waistband with the lapis extension to cover the zipper and the belt loops to be stitched in the same design as with the rest of the suit her brother again complained "this is obvious not for me, sis so who did you make this for, not for Treymon Marcathry your intended from Italy is it. you got ome major adjustment to do on this if it's for him." 

Sharie "Shut up will you, this is not for him and I am not going to marry him. Just because Dad has arranged your marriage does not mean I have to be married like that, besides I have someone who like me for me NUH!"

Tanyia " that's enough out of you two, you both are acting like two year olds"

Sharie "thank you for helping me with this Design now  I think I should deliver it to the person who needs this" and she promptly got in her car to go home directly.

As she arrived at home her Friend Kelby was there waiting for her, "Where have you been? I have some news for you unless you already know about your so-called fiancee"

"yes it's and arrangement that I don't agree with in the first place. I even told my parent that I have someone else who likes me for me." Sharie said very disappointingly.

Kelby just continued on " I think that is so cool to have an arranged marriage like that especially to a very rich man who has companies all around the world . awwe what a dream he must be."

"You keep dreaming. I'm not going to marry money, I want to marry because of love and who I  am. Money can't keep you warm when you have none" Sharie stated flatly bursting Kelby's bubble.

"Oh well, I can dream though." Kelby laughed as Sharie turned on the watering hose and splashed her from her daze.

 Both young women laughed as the watering hose got out of hand and slithered like a snake around the yard making them both soaking wet and leaving them looking like some drowned rats. Kelby " may I borrow some of your clothes to change into so I can drive home dry and not looking like this wet mongrol look"

Sharie after taming the watering hose by shutting it off "sure in the guest room you'll find extra clothes and a bathroom to dry off in and change as well. Pick what ever you like to wear if it fits you can have it"
