IS LOVE HERE TO STAY?

While Kelby was in the guest room changing to dry clothes, she could hear Sharie on the phone with her mom arguing about something. As she came out she had made her presence known and Sharie quickly hung the phone up, and voiced her opinion of what her mom had to tell her which she strongly disagreed with. Kelby stated "I need to get back home, I just wanted to know if it was true that you had an arranged marriage? but since you wish to be with someone else that's even better for you. I also need to get ready for the Alumni banquet as well that is going to happen tonight. So I guess I'll see you later."

Sharie stated "later maybe" and after that Kelby left her to her own thoughts for what to do.

She was so exhausted that she decided to go take a shower, upon entering her bathroom she could hear the phone ring, grabbing a towel she covered herself and answered it gruffly "what now?" thinking it's her brother. 

Ethan very calmly said "I am outside with a box just for you to look at and view, I'll leave it at your door for you" and then he hung up the phone after leaving the box on the stoop of the front porch. 

Sharie quietly stepped out with towel wrapped around her and picked up the package that was left for her and took it to her living room and tossed it on the sofa. She padded back to her bathroom where she got into her shower and cleaned up, dressing into something comfortable, she went to her room and lay down wanting to rest for a short while and suddenly fell into a deep sleep.

Dreaming Sharie saw herself running after Ethan crying 'don't leave me, stay with me, please don't leave me alone now' as the scene unfolded that she had seen the car and truck collide with Ethan as a passenger in the truck and thrown to the ground over a hundred meters away, having a disfigured arm and leg from the accident. She woke herself up crying in her sleep and realizing that the sun was at the mid way of the day. Sharie had slept the whole night till almost noon.

Getting up and out of bed to get dressed, she hears her phone ringing while answering it she hears Ethan's voice on the other end asking "are you dressed to come to the party this evening? I'll come pick you up and we can spend the entire party time together."

Sharie sounding surprised to hear his voice "ugh not yet. just give me and hour and half then I'll be ready to go" as she hung up the phone realizing that she very much wanted to be with him today for some odd reason, could her dream have meant to tell her that she needed to test her feelings for him.

She picked up the package from the sofa in the living room and found a note attached to it, saying 'I hope that this fits as I would like to see it on you and the Jewelry is from my grandmother who handed it down to mom and in turn gave it to me to give to my future wife and I hope that you will say yes by wearing it to the garden party this evening. with all of my love sweetheart, forever Ethan'. She went to try on the dress and surprisingly it fit very well as if it was designed for her.

When she saw the necklace She was awe struck and was attempting to put on the necklace, when Ethan arrived and was knocking on the door. She went to open the door and had the necklace in hand when Ethan offered to help place it on and she agreed to allow Ethan to place the aquamarine, claret red ruby necklace on. After latching the necklace Ethan let his hands fall to her waist and turn her to face him, seeing that she had a surprise look on her face, he asked "are you ready now?". 

Sharie nodded a yes to Ethan. She had felt all tingly inside when he had touched her waist and was shocked to know that he just wanted to take her to see his parents. Ethan helped her into the jeep wrangler and he politely closed her door after he had buckled her seat belt for her. He as well was buckled in and then drove to his parents home where the party was.

Upon their arrival his parents were greeting some of the guest that are new employees as well as the older employees who had helped to set up the area in the backyard. Ethan introduced Sharie to his parents Julia Callsburg-Dakster and Erron Dakster of the Callsburg-Dakster Industries, telling Sharie that their philosophy is to take care of their employees as their own family. 

Sharie was really enthralled by hearing Ethan talk about his family and their business which set the standard for all businesses around the state. She even found out that her grandmother was the one who designed for the Callsburg women and that she even had apprentices that she taught design to and they now work for her dad in Italy as well as for the Superior House of Design on France. and had met these men and women during a gala in Italy that she went to back a year ago in summer after graduation. 

When Sharie went to get her plate with Ethan in tow to keep her company, she was greeted by the fashionista from the Superior House of Design of France, "why hello how are you doing Sharie?"

Sharie being surprised that it was her soon to be sister in law "I'm fine, what are you doing here?" was her return reply.

Lemande Marlman replied "I'm here to represent my dad who was injured in a rig accident and he chose to retrain as a fashion designer and studied abroad in France and that is where he met my mom and now they are the biggest in the industry for fashion thanks to the Callsburg family"

Sharie looking very much in awe of what she heard and starring in disbelief at what she had seen, " I am astounded by what you said, is it true they do such things for their injured employees?" she queried

"Oh yes and much more than that, they even teach others to do what they do in business for their employees and help other businesses to implement what they do with adaptations for their style of business. Pretty cool huh!" Lemande said excitingly.

"Wow, I didn't know such a business like this ever existed, that's why you kept it low key wasn't it?" Sharie had turned to Ethan.

Ethan having the it's routine stuff look on his face " Mom kept us kids as we were growing up in a normal routine and never allowed us to have the ability to have a better than anyone else attitude, I remember when I had gotten that attitude, mom and dad immediately put me to work outside cleaning up after a rig had finished with the site. oh man I wish that on no one at all that is a disgusting job to begin with."  

Just then his mom Julia walked by and heard that "Do you wish to do that again? or shall we try the crow's nest for the summer?"

Ethan responded " No Ma'am I learned my lesson well that day."

"Okay then speak kindly about all those who have gone before you and laid the path to love and faith along with the trust that keeps on giving, you hear. It all started with your great granddad who built the Callsburg industry company and that tradition just keeps giving and going strong as ever, Just like your grand mother and her designs, which we all love their as unique as she is." Julia said with confidence.
