Kelby had gone home that afternoon from the hospital and called Julia to let her know that she could not be helping with Ethan full time as her dad would need her at home. Julia had told her that she understood and would find someone to fill in her spot to help Ethan. 

Kelby was cleaning up the kitchen and placing canned goods where her dad did not have to reach or lift from the bottom shelves. hearing her phone ring "Hello"

"Hello Kelby how are you doing?" Sharie was able to get through on her phone to callher best friend.

Kelby surprised to hear Sharie's voice " I'm fine, just getting things ready for my dad to come home from the hospital soon. How are you and what have you been doing with yourself there?"

"Oh I have been drawing up designs and working in the fabric area at my dad's design house. He has given me charge of the fabric buying part of the business and I have learned a lot from dad here about the fabric part. How is Ethan doing?" Sharie spoke in a very calm voice.

"Ethan is fine. I haven't seen him in the last couple of days cause my dad has been in the hospital. Have you seen Treymon , yet?" Kelby asked as curiosity got the better of her.

Sharie wincing at the Name of Treymon said, "Yes, I have and did not realize that he lived here and have seen him quite often and the dress that was given to me for the Callsburg=Dakster garden party! Well it was sent by none other than Treymon himself along with the necklace that I thought that Ethan sent to me. I returned the necklace to Ethan which he inturned sent it back to Treymon to give to me. The necklace belonged to Treymon's great grandmother, not Ethan's"

Kelby "I knew it was from Treymon. He has always kept tabs on you through Ethan, you didn't know that did you?"

"Of course not , I thought that Ethan was just a pest and would not go away, He was always in my line of sight which I simply did not like. Now I know why and even Treymon had said that he has been in touch with Ethan and his family as well." Sharie replied in a tone of amazement.'

"I have to hang up my phone is beeping and there is another call I have to take." kelby had cut Sharie and her conversation short.

Sharie " I'll call you later then bye"

Kelby immediately answered the line "How can I help you?"

"Ms. Neiah, Your dad has had a major set back from the surgery and we have started him on a drip for his blood pressure. did he have any blood pressure issues before?" the nurse had asked.

Kelby quickly running with the phone in hand looking thru the medicine chest of her dad's bathroom, "what kind of medications? Oh here's one Carvedilol is that for Blood pressure?"

"yes and it also helps the heart to stay steady as well, is there any more there?" She asked

Kelby looking at each bottle "warfin, hyzarr, Lisinopril, vitamin b12, fesol. these are the only ones with my dad's name on it, oh wait there's x a n a x what's that for?"

 The nurse explained xanax was for anxiety or nervousness to help keep the patient calm. then promptly thanked Kelby and hung up. 

Kelby continued to get the house in order as if her dad would be home any day from the hospital. When suddenly Julia and Erron appeared at the door. she had let them in and invited them to the kitchen to sit at the table to talk.

Julia "Kelby, here is the findings of what happened that day your dad had his accident."

Erron continued explaining to Kelby "It looks like some equipment may have had a frayed wire close to the handle which your dad had hold of. the people who he had contracted with todo the job had loaned him the tool from their supply not checking for any loose wire or fraying of the handle wires when they loaned it"

Kelby sighing with relief "that is great I'm glad that it is not as bad as it could have been. The hospital called and said they are placing him on an iv drip medication to help with his blood pressure. Now I need to just step up to the plate and be the foreperson on the job site to get things done for dad. Is there anywhere I can get training with that?"

Julia replied with a smile on her face and looking at Erron who was ready for the task "Yes, you can immediately come to the class that we are offering the men who are learning to be tool pushers. These men in this job is the first line that give orders and have people under them to do their jobs right. I know you are dealing with construction sites yet it may have the same principle. Are you interested?"

Kelby "better late than never wouldn't you say. I'll be there, where is the class room at?"

Julia gave Kelby directions to the main office and the room number for the class of learning to be a leader was in. Along with day and time the class meets.

Kelby was dress in blue jeans and a tee shirt the had an advertisement for pewter weld on it and hair pulled up in a hair tie, appearing in the class with mostly men and a few women as well and the women invited Kelby to sit with them for the class time. During the lecture Kelby took notes and was able to practice what was taught as well as develop her style of leadership under the classes provided. she attended these classes while her dad was in the hospital and took over the construction site for her dad so the job could get done and finished the right way.

Kelby set up the office for the construction in the storage unit outside their home as to keep traffic away from the house separation of home environment as well as business was a good thing for Kelby and it kept it close to where her dad would be at home. Kelby hired a site manager who had a few years of experience in construction and was laid off due to no work upstate and returned to the home town where he grew up in He was very strict when it came to construction of building as if it were a part of his family living there, Garrett was part of what the Callsburg had provided for when he was growing up after his dad was severely injured on a rig when he was a teenager.
