Chapter 9

Alessandra

Time has passed by quickly while me and Valentino have been seeing each other frequently. We shared romantic dinners, explored the city and spent quiet evenings together, learning about each other. I saw a side of Valentino that few ever did: his desire to support my dreams, he admired my creativity, determination and the way I brought light into his often complicated world. Over time our connection deepened, and we both knew it was time to define our relationship.

We were at my apartment, a cozy evening with candles and soft music playing in the background. We sitting together on the couch, enjoying a glass of wine. He reaches over and gently tucks a strand of hair behind my ear, his fingers lingering on my cheek.
"You know, these past few months have been amazing. I've never felt so connected to someone before."

He leans in, his breath warm against my skin, and kisses me softly on the lips.

"Me neither." I murmur against his lips before pulling back slightly to took into his eyes. "I feel like we understand each other in a way that no one else does."

"Spending time with you has been the highlight of my days." He caresses my cheek, his thumb tracing my lower lip.

"It's funny, isn't it? How quickly everything can change. I wasn't expecting any of this when we first met." I smile, leaning into his touch.

"I'm glad it did. You've brought something special into my life."

He kisses me again, this time more passionately, his hand sliding to the back of my neck. I respond eagerly, my fingers threading through his hair.

I pulled back slightly, I said breathlessly"I've been thinking... Maybe it's time we make this official. What do you think?"

"I've been wanting to talk to you about that. I want us to be more than just dating. I want to be with you, Alessandra. Officially."

"So do I. I want us to be a couple. To build something real together."

"Then its settled. We're together." He smile and kisses my forehead tenderly. "And I'd like to meet your friends properly. I know they've been curious about us."

"They have. They know about you, but they haven't had the chance to really meet you."

"How about we arrange something this weekend. I'd love to meet them and show them how much you mean to me."

"Perfect, I'll set it up."

I pull him in for another kiss, feeling a mix of excitement and relief as we finally decided to define our relationship.

We arrived at a rooftop lounge, the atmosphere is lively with soft lightning and a buzz of conversation. Jade and Amara were sitting at a table, chatting and sipping their drinks .

Jade shouted, "Alessandra! Over here!"

Amara said while noticing Valentino. "And you've brought a guest. Valentino, right?"

"Yes, it's a pleasure to finally meet you both." He gives them a charming smile. "Alessandra's told me a lot about you."

I laughed. "Of course. Jade, Amara this is Valentino. Valentino, these are my best friends, Jade and Amara."
