Valentino

"Valentino," Marco greeted me with a smirk. "What brings you here?"

"You know damn well why I'm here," I growled. "You think you can intimidate her and get away with it?"

Marco shrugged nonchalantly. "She's a beautiful woman. Maybe, she deserves better."

My fists clenched at my sides. "Keep her name out of your filthy mouth," I spat. "This is between us. You want war? You've got one."

Marco stood up. "Oh, I've been looking forward to this. Let's see if you're as tough as you think you are."

I glanced around, noting the positions of his men. "You always need your lackeys to back you up. Afraid to face me alone?"

Marco's eyes flashed with anger. "You talk big, Valentino. But you're just as vulnerable as anyone else. Maybe more so, now that you have a family."

I took a step closer, lowering my voice. "You don't touch my family. You don't even think about them. This is the last warning you'll ever get."

Marco laughed. "You really think you can protect her? You think you can protect yourself? You're delusional."

I grabbed him by collar pulling him close. "If you ever go near Alessandra again, I will end you. Understand?"

Marco sneered, trying to pull away. "Big words. Let see if you can back them up."

I shoved him back. "You just made the biggest mistake of your life, Marco. Pray you live long enough to regret it."

Dominic and Sergio entered the room, their expressions grave.

"Val, we need to talk," Dominic said, closing the door behind them.

I looked up. "What's going on?"

Sergio stepped forward. "We've got a problem. Someone's been leaking information to Marco."

My eyes narrowed. "Who the fuck is it?"

"We don't know yet," Dominic replied. "But we suspect it's someone on the inside."

I clenched my fists. "A traitor in the midst. This can't go unpunished. What do we know so far?"

Sergio spoke. "We've been tracking communication patterns and suspicious activities. One name keeps coming up. Enzo."

My face darkened. "Enzo? He's been with us for years."

"Which makes it even worse," Dominic said. "If he's the one, he knows everything."

I slammed my fist on the desk. "Get Enzo in here. Now."

Minutes later, Enzo was brought into the room.

"Boss, what's this about?" Enzo asked.

"You tell me. Why the fuck are you leaking information to Marco?"

Enzo's eyes widened. "What? I would never—"

"Save it," I snapped. "We've got proof. You've been feeding him our plans, our movements. Why?"

Enzo shook his head frantically. "Boss, you have to believe me. I didn't do it. Someone's setting me up."

"Cut the bullshit," Dominic said, stepping forward. "We know it's you."
