Alessandra

I knocked on the door of Jade's home, feeling the excitement of a girls night bubbling up inside. Jade answered the door with a warm smile.

"Alessandra! Come on in!" She said pulling me into a hug.

As I entered, Amara was already lounging on the couch a glass of wine in hand. She greeted me with a playful grin. "Hey, girl! Finally you made it!"

I laughed and joined them in the living room. "It's so good to see you both. I've missed our girls nights."

Jade handed me a glass of wine and settled into the armchair across from me. "So, what's new with everyone? How's work been treating you, Amara?"

Amara shrugged, taking a sip of her wine. "Work's the same old grind. You know how it is. I'm just trying to survive until the next vacation. Speaking of which how's your job?"

Jade smiled, a hint of excitement in her eyes. "Actually, yes! I've been working on a new project at the company and it's finally coming together. Plus, Ethan and I are doing really well. We've been talking about taking a vacation soon, maybe to Italy."

Amara eyes sparkled with mischief. "Italy, huh? Sounds like things are getting pretty serious."

Jade blushed slightly taking a sip of her wine. "We are. Ethan is really wonderful. He's so supportive and caring. I really think he might be the one."

My eyes lit up, "That's amazing. I'm so happy for you."

Amara raised her glass. "Here's to Jade and Ethan, and all the happiness in the world."

We clinked our glasses together, laughter filling the room.

Jade turned to me, her expression been curious. "And how's work been for you? Balancing your job and spending time with Valentino must be challenging?"

I sighed. "It can be, but it's worth it. My job is demanding, but I'm learning so much. And Valentino he's so supportive."

Amara leaned back. "You know, I envy you sometimes. You have this great guy, a job you love, and big dreams. It's inspiring."

I reached over and squeezed her hand. "Come on now, don't say that. But you both inspire me too, Jade with your careful planning and dedication and you with your fearless honesty and independence."

Amara smirked. "Well, fearless and independent yes. But sometimes I think I might be too independent for my own good. I've had few flings here and there, but nothing serious. I just enjoy my freedom."

Jade nodded thoughtfully. "There's nothing wrong with that. You should live your life the way that makes you the happiest."

Amara raised her glass. "To living life on our own terms!"

After a moment of comfortable silence, Jade looked at me. "So, tell us about Greece. Valentino really pulled out at the stops, didn't he?"

I blushed, a smile spreading across my face. "Greece was absolutely magical. He planned the most amazing trip. We stayed in this beautiful villa, went on romantic dinners and he even took me on a shopping spree in Athens."
