{I suck at writing fight scenes, I'm sorry}

She was being pushed around with her hands still chained, the iron grip on her arms almost blocking her blood from rushing through her veins. The sharp blade of the guillotine was glistening in the sun. A crowd was cheering for her downfall as her head was being shoved in.

Adres stared down at Flower's helpless self with a grin on their face. "Now it's only a matter of time until that bastard reveals himself..." They then turned around to face the crowd around the pedestal, reflections taught to be scared of travelers, and silver demons trained to hate. Flower's heart was racing as she was fearing the worst, so she tried to wriggle her numb arms out of the chains.

"We're gathered here to finally get rid of our worries, of what's keeping you up at night, of what you've been told to beware, of all that has been causing the losses in this dimension. They've been wearing a fake mask all along to fit in, and since we had discovered their true side, they'd been lurking in the shadows."

Being in this position hurt her knees and back, but she feared of triggering the guillotine if she were about to move even more. She stared into the crowd, her eyes scanning the faces in hopes of finding a familiar one. Green hair, a top hat– Nana! She was right there, but... she wasn't looking at Flower. She was looking up in the sky.

Tamari had their new giant demon wings spread out, flying around in loops as they were laughing. The warm wind blew against their face as they enjoyed the newfound freedom. However, Mariyam, who was being carried on the back, was clinging onto her brother for dear life. "You promised we would go slow–!"

"SHUT IT 🗣" Tamari continued doing their stunts, flying through small gaps between buildings and into clouds, eventually landing on a rooftop in a perfect Spider-Man pose. Mariyam fell off his back with a thud and laid on the floor motionless. Tamari grabbed her hand and pulled her back to her bare feet, picking up the arrow and bow they had.

From below, Nana was waving at Tamari like crazy, to which they waved back. "Observe, they're all so fun-sized!" they chuckled and pointed down at the crowd.

Nana yelled from below as she waved faster, causing her hand to almost fall off. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING??"

All of Nana's words came off as unintelligible from afar though. "I missed your presence too, Dizzy!" Tamari shouted back.

Adres continued their speech as usual. "But now, we've got them. We're putting all of this terror to an end, now with one of the travelers in the palm of our hands."

Hellish screaming from a hundred people. Adres turned around to be met with the sight of a swarm of people with distorted bodies, and that's just when they knew that Christopher was behind this.

The distortions began attacking the silver demons with their bare hands or handmade weapons, while the rest of the crowd backed away from this entire situation. It wasn't safe to say that they were being successful in trying to beat those creatures up, but it was enough to distract Adres for sure.

As Nana was one of the confused reflections in the crowd watching the chaos unfold, she noticed some people moving aside. She seemed puzzled, until someone behind her back suddenly gripped her shoulder and carefully shoved her aside. "Hey! Don't fucking touch m–" At the sight of the scribbled mask facing her, she instantly fell silent. The tall white haired man chuckled as one of his multiple black hands let go of the clown. With every step he took, he clanked the tip of his metal bat onto the floor like the church's bell as he continued walking towards the pedestal where the guillotine stood.

"Aha! There he is..." Tamari pointed at Christopher and turned to Mariyam. "You aim at Adres once I command you."

"...which means you'll aim at Shatter-Man?"

"Indeed... once her chains get loosened," Tamari answered with a nod and drew the bow. "Prepare yourself."

Christopher stepped onto the pedestal while the fight was having Adres' attention, and Flower stared with wide eyes as he recognized that familiar figure. He forcefully pulled Flower out of the guillotine and examined her chained wrists, trying to figure out how to get rid of those. "They should really keep their kinks out of my child's business..." he muttered as he slightly pulled at the chain.

"What?!" Flower exclaimed, unsure whether to be more concerned about the kink part or the fact that he had just called her his... child. His child?

Adres' head turned 180 degrees like an owl just at the sound of Flower speaking, and their first instinct was to pull out their dagger and tackle Christopher. They held him down by sitting on his waist and raised the dagger high, the blade pointed towards the man's chest in an attempt to stab him. Christopher quickly flipped both of them over and went to hit Adres' head with his metal bat, just for them to dodge at each attempt.

"Metamorphosis of the schedule!" Tamari exclaimed.

"Excuse me, what?" Mariyam's brows furrowed.

"We would require to injure them first, then we shall fly down to release Flower," they explained.

Then Adres sliced off Christopher's mechanical hand that was holding the metal bat, causing it to fall and the bat to roll away. They kicked him off of them, causing him to fall back and hit the floor of the pedestal.

As Adres got back on their feet, Christopher grunted and rubbed the back of his head in pain. Adres was smirking as the grip around their dagger tightened. "Well how sweet... we've got the two-in-one package."

"TWO IN ONE PACKAGE INDEED!" Tamari shouted from the rooftop before two arrows were sent flying towards them... but both accidentally landed in Adres' shoulders. "Oh shi–"

"Ah-!" Adres fell to the floor and pulled the arrows out, just for it to be even more painful. They were squirming, lying there helplessly as blood was seeping through their clothes.

Christopher got up and took the metal bat again, rushing back towards Flower to hit the bat at the chains that were holding her in place. They broke just after two tries, and for whatever reason, the citizens weren't doing anything. Not that they would dare to do so, anyway. Without Flower being able to react, she was instantly pulled by her wrists and dragged away, the city flying by like a fever dream.

The distortions stopped fighting and quickly followed him behind like a flock of hungry chickens chasing after their owner with seeds. Left behind were some hundreds of injured and dozen dead silver demons, as well as their injured leader.
