"...and now Tamari's face is all over the news," Nana told with crossed arms, "again."

Nana and Tamari were in Mister Emily's workshop. The old man was busy attaching new bottom arms to Tamari. Since he was used to Tamari's visits every time a malfunction appeared or when they were missing a limb, he had extra replacement parts for him there always.

Mister Emily sighed. "Fayrouz already knows Tamari is around somewhere, so this would make no difference other than the fact that she now knows where to search out for him. But not only she knows, but the police too." He attached the wires, making sure the nerves connected.

Tamari pouted. "My stomach turns at the thought of my home," they said, looking into the man's eyes, "a home I can barely call my own."

"We won't allow her to take you back," Nana reassured them. "Flower and I will make sure of that. Speaking of her, do you have any idea why Candle Bitch hasn't mentioned her? Like, at all? It's as if she has never done anything!"

Tamari smiled. "Wax cup royalties enjoy her presence, therefore they thank her in this fashion."

Nana snorted. "Wax cup royalties—"

Cakey woke up in her bed, immediately sitting up. "How did- how on earth did I even get here?" she wondered, trying to recollect the memories of yesterday. She could've sworn she hadn't gone to bed the previous day. Maybe they dragged her to bed after she'd passed out from seeing Tamari armless.
...but why were they armless? Let's rewind.

According to Nana, Tamari only spoke in AI-generated text and quotes. During their mission, they had spat out a copy of a key. And they could remove their own limbs without bleeding or feeling any pain.

She facepalmed. How didn't she know Tamari was a robot? Gosh, how slow she was.

Cakey checked her watch. Eight o'clock.

Not letting another second pass, she quickly ran to get herself ready. She hadn't even brushed her teeth in the past two days here, good god. This entire mirror situation made her forget her own hygiene and basic needs.

She soon rushed home, just to find it empty as always. The only new thing was a disgusting smell floating in the air, as well as some flies occasionally landing on her arms. But she didn't have the time to check what was causing it.

Ignoring it, she went to go under the shower while brushing her teeth at the same time. She couldn't keep her friends waiting, after all.

Today would be such an exhausting day. Museum, then shopping, then musical. Cakey wasn't even sure how many hours she had slept.

She then made herself a coffee to go with so much cocoa powder, milk and sugar that it could barely even be called a coffee at all, so sweet to the point that the sugar was more effective in giving her energy than the caffeine. After she packed it into her backpack, she rushed to the bus stop and luckily made it on time, so she could take a short power nap during the ride.

When she later arrived in front of the museum, she was met with her two nerdy friends, Dennis and Teto. "Hello, guys!"

"There you are!" Teto said in relief. "Thanks for coming, this asshole was already annoying me."

Dennis was wearing his signature smile, not listening to Teto's complaints.
"Let's get going, shall we? Four hours are only 14400 seconds long, might as well enjoy every single one of them!"

After quickly scanning the tickets, they were finally let into the huge museum. Cakey sipped on her warm, sweet coffee every once in a while, making sure to stay awake.
