Sinbound

Chapter 1

I woke up in the comfiest blankets, besides my own that is. These are not as soft as mine. I stretched out but didn't open my eyes yet to give myself a little time to start waking up.
"Hey if you're going to take up my bed the least you could do is give a guy a pillow" I heard a male voice say.
I began to laugh and sat up.
"I'm sorry, I had no idea" I said with a slight smile.
"Dude I knew you were ugly but not that ugly" he said with a mischievous smile as he pointed up at me. I threw a pillow from his bed at him and climbed out of the bed, making my way to the bathroom. I grabbed my bag on the way.
"Hey my mom's making breakfast and she said you're joining us no if and or buts." He said.
"Veyron." I said in whiny tone as if I was a toddler.
"Her words not mine buttercup." Veyron said before I closed the bathroom door.

I took a shower and got dressed in my white shape stone bardot ribbed crop top and my olive green cargo pants. Most cargo pants are oversized but mine fit just right and show off my curves and shape my butt to look appealing. I turned and dried my hair before deciding to use a claw clip to put my hair up, leaving only my bangs to hang down. I applied some blush and mascara before throwing on my white ASOS design lace up sneakers. I looked myself over in the mirror before heading downstairs. As I entered the kitchen I saw Veyron and Acacia were cooking breakfast and talking. They didn't even notice me when I sat down. Veyron and I had met online and become best friends a year ago and our parents became very close. Acacia was Veyrons mom. Veyron had an older brother named Kaius whom I've never seen face to face. I've seen his back and I will say he has a pretty damn good looking back. He has light almost platinum blonde wavy hair that ripples down to the center of the back of his neck. He's at least 6'0 with an athletic build and a rather dark complexion. Veyron said he was a quiet kid growing up, then he started running businesses with their father and has proved to many he's way smarter than he appears.

Veyron was almost the exact opposite of what I heard about his brother. He had dark brown medium length hair that often looked ruffled and messy and paired well with his dark brown eyes that often seemed to appear closer to black when he was mad. He was 6'0 with a lean, athletic build and broad shoulders. His skin a warm, dark complexion. Unlike Kaius who almost always dresses up from what I've heard, Veyron is rather fond of his casual style usually sticking with a pair of light jeans, a tshirt and sneakers. Veyron's selfless nature earned him the nickname "girls' best friend" because he's always there offering support and understanding. He hates attention being drawn to him but he can be too trusting, which often leads to him being taken advantage of by less scrupulous individuals. If our families weren't close I wouldn't be aloud to just stay the night especially at only 15. I would turn 16 in 6 months but according to my mom, the age doesn't count until you are the age. So the entire year I'm 15 not 15.5, not 15 and a quarter or 3 quarters, not almost 16, I am only 15 until my birthday.

Acacia turned and smiled.
"Good morning pretty lady" she said smiling at me.
"Good morning mama A, that looks amazing" I said with a small smile.
"Thank you dear, do you need a ride to school today?" She asked with a slight glance at me.
"Uh no I think V said he'd be okay dropping me off at home, we're horse shopping today for the new house." I said smiling.
"Yeah yeah absolutely" Veyron said quickly. Acacia just smiled and nodded before placing a plate in front of me. I ate quickly before running to grab my things and take them to the car. I stood outside enjoying the morning while waiting for Veyron. They had a beautiful home out in the woods but close to town. It was a huge 5 bedroom 4 bathroom house with 2 offices and bunch of space and extra rooms. It also had a heated in ground pool and 4 horse stalls along with a detached apartment which is where Kaius lives. As I stared into the woods I could feel someone watching me, I glanced to the window facing me in the apartment to see Kaius staring at me. He was close enough to see me and so I could tell he was there by the outlines figure in the rather dark room but I could not see his face. Suddenly Veyron appeared and we left, he dropped me off at home shortly after.

My mom was waiting in the car for me so I got in and we headed to the horse auction. I picked out a Galineers Cob and she picked out a Haflinger. We were having them delivered so after we picked and paid and walked around for a bit we decided to head home. On the way home we stopped at a gas station to get gas, but as we left the parking lot all I felt was a bang and my head started hurting and suddenly it was dark. When I woke up Veyron was sitting next to me holding my hand and I was laying in a bed. I glanced around the room a bit before I realized I was in a hospital room.
"Bex!? How are you? Mom grab a doctor and find her dad." Veyron said.
"I'm ok in some pain but okay. What happened?" I asked as my brain started racking. I remembered getting horses with my mom, I suddenly remembered my mom and the loud bang and passing out. "Where's my mom Veyron?!" I asked panicking. He looked incredibly sad. Before he said anything my dad appeared, he looked worn and beaten down.
"Dad what's happening? Where's mom?" I asked. He sighed and sat next to me as everyone stepped outside.
"Bex, when you guys left the parking lot after horse shopping a guy in an suv hit you guys while on his phone. You got lucky cause he hit your moms side of the car but your moms injuries were too severe. She died an hour ago." He said the last sentence coldly.
