Bexley
It was late evening but I still needed to go to my self defense class so I made dinner and set it out so Ember could eat when she got done on the phone with V. I had already ate quickly before running to throw on some clothes. It was getting cooler out and I could wear whatever to class so I went ahead and threw on black leggings and a grey long sleeve shirt. Then I pulled on a black zip up vest coat and found my fuzzy grey socks that matched my shirt before sliding on my black ankle high lace up boots. I went to the bathroom and slid on the blonde wig, it was shoulder length, curly hair and it half down and half rolled up into a bun with little bangs to help cover the fact it was a wig. Once I had it on and glued down, I put in my baby blue colored contacts and stopped to say bye to Ember.
"Hey Em, I am headed to self defense class. I will see you later, dinner is on the counter." I yelled down the stairs.
"Okay, love you. be careful." She yelled back.
"Love you." I yelled before shutting the basement door and heading out to the garage and sliding into the car. We had agreed to meet in Springfield today. I was worried I would run into somebody especially since the place was on the mall strip and everyone goes to Springfield mall strip including my fathers associates. I pulled into the back side of the mall strip and go out walking the long way.
"Bexley?" A girl called out at me she sounded so familiar, I flinched for a second but kept walking so no one would know it was me.
"Don't be silly. She had red hair and always said she would never dye her hair." A guy said laughing. I suddenly knew who it was, I had graduated but never attended graduation so I had not seen Marliegh since the incident and I had almost not recognized her voice.I turned into the self defense class seeing Jerome standing smiling as he waited for me. Jerome was handsome as all get out but I was traumatized and married and it was all so complicated.
"Jerome." I said with my arms out smiling.
"Taya." He said as he hugged me. He had asked me on dates before but I always said no.
"See I told you it wasn't her. She would never take a self defense class." I heard the guy with Marleigh say quietly.
"Yeah but didn't she marry that billionaire Declan Fraser and then just disappear?" Marleigh whispered. Her words and the sound of his a made my body tense. I turned my attention back to Jerome.
"You okay?" He asked as he looked past me to the people outside. "Can I help you guys? Did you have a class or something?"
"No we just thought she was somebody else." Marleigh said. At this I turned and smiled.
"I'm sorry you must have me mistaken with somebody else. I don't know you." I said in a sweet high pitched voice. "Shall we?" I turned back to Jerome. He nodded.
I was tense the rest of the class, felt like I was being watched. I decided I would go home and take a bath to relax but I was going to stop and get some stuff for a bath. I stopped by bath and body works before leaving, I didn't ever come into town and since I was already here I might as well make a trip out of it. First I went for face skin care and got my face wash, mask, lotion and exfoliator then I headed and grabbed a few favorite scents like champagne toast, into the night, and a thousand wishes. I grabbed the scents in body cream, body wash and body spray. They didn't have into the night in shampoo and conditioner but had the other two so I grabbed them and checked out, my total added to $145 but I was still happy. I grabbed my stuff and headed to my car, I turned a few times because I felt like I was being followed but everytime I looked there was no one. I got in my car and started my drive home which wasn't too bad. When I made it home I took my stuff inside, I looked in the kitchen to see if maybe Ember was upstairs but she wasn't so I went to my bathroom and began running water and took off my shoes. I grabbed a robe and a towel and went to the tub before stripping down and climbing into the warm tub. I took a long bath and thought I had heard Ember at one point but she never came in so figure she just was grabbing something to drink or snack on or something. When I was done it the bath I took a quick shower using the scents I got to wash my hair and body before getting off and drying off and wrapping my hair in the towel. I slipped my robe on and grabbed my other scents of champagne toast and opened my bathroom door and before I even made it out of the bathroom I screamed. There was a random man just sitting on my bed, he was quite handsome as he read a book with his legs crossed on my bed. He looked tall and muscular like another inch give or take taller than me. He had light almost platinum blonde hair that falls into soft waves ending just above his eyes. His eyes were a aquamarine, teal color. He was dark complexed, angular facial features with high cheekbones and a strong jawline accentuated by a fair amount of slightly darker blonde stubble.
"Who are you? Why are you in my room?" I asked. I was not dressed for a physical altercation right now.Kauis
When Cedrick asked me to find Bexley, I was hesitant of whether I should or not but I already knew where she was. I knew all along, I had been following my brother when she ran away. I followed him because he had been acting strange for weeks with bank stops and going to our fake government documents guy. I figured he and Ember were going to run off after they got married or something but it all made sense when I saw Bexley in the black leggings and grey sweater with her long, wavy auburn hair rolled down her back. I had almost missed seeing her, I had watched her from afar since her and my brother met. I had watched the way she rose from the water when she swam at my house, or when my mom made red velvet cake Bexley's face would light up causing a twinkle in her emerald eyes as she'd devour it like she hadn't had a bite to eat in weeks. I had watched the way her hips swayed when she walked with purpose, her generous curves stealing glances from anybody and everybody. I have always wanted to beat those to a pulp especially that prick Derek, walking around pretending to care for her and love her but the whole time working for the bigger prick Declan. Declan Fraser was a perverted piece of shit in my opinion, he was a man obsessed with a girl young enough to be his daughter and from what I heard he did to his wives he was worse than you could imagine. I had planned to ask Bexley on a date but her mother died and that's when her father signed away her hand in marriage for a business deal, a business deal that could've been made with anybody else at a price not putting Bexley in danger or taking her from living her life. I had decided to never meet Bexley face to face until necessary because I don't know how I would act. She was brilliant, beautiful, talented and above all kind, she loved with such compassion that she reminded me of my mother who I loved the most.
When I saw that she not only ran and bought a house close to Declan's but moved in with Ember who was lieing to people and started taking self defense classes, wearing wigs and secluding herself that's when I knew she had a plan. I was going to mess up her plan as well as assist but for now she couldn't know that. I had ran into the garage when Bexley pulled in after walking through woods to get here and when she got in the bath I snuck to her room and started peeking at her belongings and then grabbed the book off the nightstand and got comfy on the bed while I waited for her. When she came out my breath caught when I seen her in a robe as she jumped nociting me.
"Who are you? Why are you in my room?" She asked her voice a bit shaky. I didn't neccessarily like that she seemed afraid of me, not one bit actually but then again she didn't know me.
"Your father sent me." I said blantly. Her eyes grew wide before they flicked across the room as she looked for a way out before realizing she'd have to pass me to get to any of them. I smirked a little, she was cute when she squirmed.
"Can I at least get dressed before you take me back to that traitor piece of shit and his business deals?" She asked with an attitude.
"I am not taking you anywhere, at least not tonight. Mind if I crash? I'm gonna crash for awhile. Got any food? You hungry? We can eat and talk?" I bombarded her with questions before she could deny me anything.
"If you're not taking me to my dad or so called husband then where are you taking me?" She asked curiously. I remember the bruises on her when she met Vey that night, the rage I felt was unexplainable.
