Chapter 26

Bexley

When I woke up I was laying in my bed so I glanced to find Kai and he was still asleep but he had slept on the pullout couch. I got up and stretched before sliding on a cardigan and walking to the kitchen, I started coffee and then realized I hadn't taken my meds or drank my tea but I had slept with no night terrors. I smiled thinking about why it could have been, of course I thought it was thanks to Kaius. I pulled out bacon and placed it on a pan while the oven preheated and put the bacon in. When I turned I saw Kaius watching me leaned against the wall smiling with his hands in his pockets, I jumped at first.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you love." He said walking into the kitchen, I handed him a cup of coffee and he leaned down and kissed my cheek.
"It's okay, I just didn't see you there. I'm going to make breakfast bowls for breakfast." I said with a small smile.
"Sounds awesome. How did you sleep? I didn't hear you wake last night." He said causing my smile to grow, he must have noticed. "What? Did I miss something?" He asked.
"No just I slept really well and I didn't take my meds or drink tea. I was surprised when I woke up." I said still smiling as I had walked to the fridge adn pulled out frozen sausage, eggs, cheese, butter, onion, milk, and green and red peppers. I put it all on the counter as I grabbed the potatoes and placed them on the counter.
"So what you're saying is I helped at least a little?" He asked smirking.
"Maybe a little bit." I said holding up my index and thumb as if showing holding a marble or something to say just a tiny bit. I grabbed a potato peeler, knife, some bowls and a cutting board and walked back to the counter.
"I'll take it. Do you mind if I use your bathroom to get ready for the day? Do you need help?" He asked.
"No I am okay and yeah go ahead, use whatever you need." I said as I began cutting the onions and peppers placing them in one bowl. Kai grabbed my face quickly and placed a small kiss before walking away, I smiled again getting lost in the thought of him.

"I don't think I have seen either of you this happy before." Veyron said as he stood with his arms crossed in the doorway, I jumped again.
"You both need bells for when you approach." I said with a chuckle.
"I will always look out for you but he is also my brother. Guard your heart but don't shut him out. You withdrawal easily after Derek and Declan, understandably but just don't hurt him and if he hurts you, I will kill him." Veyron said as he watched me cooking.
"There is coffee. I'm making breakfast. I never planned on catching feelings for your brother and I don't anticipate either one of us hurting the other. I will not be hurting him at least, I don't think I have ever began to feel this way about anyone. Derek was just me being scared and he was there, I don't think I could've loved him with how fast I hated him after what I found out and he even warned me before I left." I said without looking up.
"I just want what is best for both of you. What do you want to do today?" Veyron asked while he sat at the counter with coffee. I thought for a second before I smiled, Veyron cocked his head to the side. I had now thrown everything together in a pan on the stove and only had the bacon left to crumble and add.
"Tattoos. I'm going to get a few I have been planning. I am going to hire someone to come here and do them." I said smiling.
"I like that idea." V said smiling in return.
"I second that. Plus you'll look smoking with some tats Bex." Ember said as she walked in and sat with Veyron.
"I second that last statement, granted you look smoking regardless." Kaius winked as he appeared from around the corner. I blushed and dumped the now crumbled bacon into the pan with the scrambled eggs, cut up potatoes, peppers, and onion. I felt his arms wrap around my waist and I smiled lightly.
"Go ahead and go shower, make that call to hire a tattoo artist and then come back. I'll watch the food." He whispered in my ear. I leaned back into him lightly and then turned to face him.
"Are you sure?" I asked quietly, we were now only a matter of inches apart. Kai inched closer as he leaned down to my ear.
"Or I can join you and Veyron can watch the food. But you're not ready for all that yet." He whispered lowly so no one else could hear. I jumped back slightly in shock at his words. I don't know what surprised me more the fact that he said that he thinks I won't or the fact that when he said it out loud it turned me on, like madly.

"Do it." I said daringly with a smirk. He looked at me shocked as if trynna find out if I was joking or not so I showed in my face the best I could how serious I was and he smiled big before he picked me up off the floor wrapping my legs around his waist causing a small half shriek, half laugh to escape my lips.
"Do me a favor little bro. Watch the food." He said as he started walking with me around his waist. Veyron scoffed and looked at me and I smiled and mouthed 'I'm sorry' and Veyron rolled his eyes walking to the stove. Kaius carried me to the bathroom before setting me on the bathroom sink and turned the shower on. I stripped my shorts off and began to slide my shirt off when I felt Kaius's hands on my thigh.
"Are you sure love? I have no problem waiting for you, I have waited years so I can wait forever if that is what you want." Kai said with a small smile.
"If I was questioning my decision, you would not be in the bathroom with me half naked right now Kaius." I said attempting to show him how serious I am.  He took no time pulling me in and desperately kissing me as if he needed me  to breathe and hadn't had it in years. His hands ran up both of my thighs causing my body to tense for a second and I placed my hands at the bottom of Kai's shirt and ran them up and under his shirt, I lifted it and pulled the shirt over his head. Kai slid his pants off before picking me up off the counter and carrying me into the shower, he still had on his boxers and I had on my bra and underwear. When water hit us he set me on my feet pulling me to him as he pulled me in for a desperate kiss, wrapping his hand in my hair as his kiss deepened. I reached behind me and unhooked my bra as Kai had broken the kiss to shut the shower door, when he turned back I dropped the bra on the ground causing his eyes to drop lower and then his eyes widened when he saw my bare chest. I wrapped an arm around his neck pulling him back to me pressing our lips together once more and more desperate than ever. Kaius wrapped his arms around me placing one on my lower back and one in my hair, I broke the kiss to catch my breath and tipped my head back. Kai continued to kiss down my neck and my breast, he removed a hand from my hair and cupped it around my breast. I let out a moan as his other hand traveled my body, he pulled my waist closer to his and I could feel him growing the more he explored my body. My body usually crawled into a hole when it felt someone touch me like this but with him it was different.
