Chapter 11

Bexley

We sat and played games for hours and ordered greasy foods until I didn't think I would be able to stand. When I tried I almost fell over but luckily Derek caught my hand steadying me.
"We should probably all head to bed soon we need to be on the plane by 6am." Veyron said. we all agreed and walked back to the house before saying goodnight to V and Em. Once they went to bed Derek went to use the bathroom, I went to the bar and took a few more shots and made another drink before stripping down to just my thong and when I removed my top the warm breeze hit my boobs, it felt good on my body. I walked into the pool before I put my drink on the edge of the pool a long with my hair clip allowing my hair to fall down along my breasts and spine. I saw a shadow in the house and knew Derek was coming, I could feel his eyes on me as I closed my eyes and slowly dropped into the pool and under the water. When my head came up from under the water I saw Dereks eyes roaming down my body and I turned around and swam to the glass, facing out towards the ocean. I heard Derek enter the pool and felt it move as he approached but it settled quickly but I didn't see him out of my peripheral vision. I turned my head slightly and could see Derek standing a few steps behind me out of the corner of my eye, his eyes scoured my body as if he was taking it all in. I turned around to face him and immediately our eyes locked. I didn't even realize I was holding my breath until I felt like I was going to pass out.

"What are you doing B...?" He whispered quietly fighting to maintain eye contact. I tried to be nonchalant so I shrugged my shoulders.
"Swimming. I made drinks if you want one." I said blandly as I moved to grab my drink. I started chugging it and turned to Derek.
"Do you want this one or?" I asked. He nodded and grabbed it so I got out and went to the bar and made another, I snuck a few shots. I didn't have the courage to do any of this without it but Derek made it so easy to be confident and I needed that confidence if I was going to attempt to make a move on him. I had started to feel a type of way about Derek and I wanted to tell him but I wouldn't be able to say if so I would have to show it. I grabbed my drink and walked back, Derek had moved to where I was standing and stared out like I did, only he looked like he was lost in thought but not a happy thought. So I place my drink on the edge and made my way to him standing next to him, I studied his face.
"Are you okay?" I asked quietly. He shook his head in response.
"What's wrong?" I asked. He looked at me with such sadness that made me wanna hug him and I didn't even know why.
"You know I love you right? That I would do anything for you? Be here for you?" He asked as he studied my face.
"Yes I know that, What is going on D? What happened?" I asked confused.

"I'm afraid soon you will hate me. I have made mistakes and they will all be shown soon. Just know that I made those mistakes before I met you and I couldn't change them and eventually I kept to what I was doing because of you." He said. Now I was even more confused.
"I'm so confused, what did you do?" I asked but he ignored that question, I had forgotten I didn't have a shirt on until I hugged him and my bare breasts pressed firmly against his chest causing him to take a sharp inhale. I blushed slightly before looking up at Derek but I didn't back away I kept myself planted to him and he didn't move either. We stared at each other for a moment and I got lost in his eyes completely forgetting what he was talking about, I didn't even think about it or realize my head was moving when I pressed my lips to his gently. Derek startled didn't move at first so I pulled away and backed up.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that." I said turning to go hide somewhere else. I felt Dereks hand grab mine and I turned to see why when he suddenly crashed his lips to mine, taking me by surprise. His kiss was full of desperation like I was his lifeline at first but turned hot and intense after a moment, I couldn't help but return the kiss wrapping my arms around his neck pulling him closer. Derek grabbed my legs lifting me around his waist which was easy since we were in the water. When we suddenly broke the kiss gasping for air, Derek laid his forehead on my collarbone making my breathing hitch again and his warm breath hit my skin. Nobody had been this close to me or seen me so exposed, I suddenly felt nervous and felt the goosebumps crawl across my body. Derek must have noticed cause he lifted me out of the water and carried me inside without removing me from his waist.

I had laid my head on his shoulder watching behind us as we walked to the bathroom, I heard him turn on water and assumed it was the shower before he set me down, shut and locked the bathroom door and slid into the bath with his boxers on. Derek held out his hand as he looked at me, I took his hand and slid into the bath still almost naked with only a thong on. He turned me so I was facing away from him with my back leaning against his chest, when I laid my head back my ear lined with his lips which I only knew when I felt his breath on my ear. He caused shivers down my body when his breath touched my skin.
"How did you know?" I asked. I was referring to him knowing I needed more privacy just not away from him. I felt his smile as he kissed my shoulder gently.
"We have been best friends for a long time now. I know your facial expressions plus that is just not you. Why did you do that? What has changed?" He asked seeming confused.
"My feelings for you" I whispered quietly as I brought his hand to my lips kissing his wrist. I felt as his breath hitched beneath me.
"You're just confused and scared for tomorrow. It's okay to be. Plus you can use me whenever you want." He said with a small laugh.
"Is that what you think? You really think I would do that to you?" I asked turning my head up the best I could so I could see his face. His face answered the question as he looked at me, he knew I would never do that to him. I rolled over so I was laying on him chest to chest and I waited for him to look at me.
