Natasha

Soon a guy clad in a dark pink colour kurta with shimmering mirror work on it entered the house dancing and vibing with the people playing dhol who looked like his friends. He was a dashing tall man with a moustache on his face which he stroked with confidence amidst the dance. he had the whole attention with his 'dhasu' (Terrific) entry.

"Rudra." I heard my husband speak as he shook his head with a light chuckle and I again looked at the 'Marathi mulga' (Maharashtrian boy) going towards his parents and his friends bringing two heavy garlands which he handed each of them to his parents and urged them to put them around each other necks while dancing and celebrating with his friends.

From somewhere someone popped the rose canon and it looked like the scene of 'varmala exchange' (Garlands exchange, an auspicious ritual done in Indian weddings where both bride and groom put flower garlands around each other's necks). I marvelled and grinned excitedly watching the scene unfolding in front of me.

"Guys, I Rudra Deshpande heartily thank everyone who attended my parent's 30th marriage anniversary. It's an honour to have you all here and partake in our happiness. Please enjoy the party and trust me 'abhi to celebration shuru hui hai' (The celebration has just started) He said earning cheers and applause as I hooted too before feeling the gaze of my husband upon me immediately composing myself.

I tried to ignore his persistent gaze as I kept staring at the scene in front of me. Both uncle and aunty were happily laughing and people rushed again to congratulate them and meet their son this time. The merry scene makes me grin too. He just made the party livelier.

"Natasha-- Dhruv was cut off in the middle when someone suddenly called out his name loudly having our attention and it was none other than Rudra himself. He came slightly jogging towards us and boy could he get any taller? Although he was the same height as my dear husband but I was surprised because from afar I couldn't make the precise calculations

"Aree (Ohh) Dhruv, my dear brother, How are you?" He asked engulfing Dhruv in a brotherly hug.

"Mera chod, tu bata, Uncle, Aunty keh rhe the tu injured tha? (Leave about myself and you tell, Uncle and Aunty were saying you were injured?) How did it happen?"

"Are kuch nhi bas mamuli si karoch thi ( Nothing major just some minor scratches) but you know mom and dad right? I even said that let's go Dhruv ki shaadi hai baar-baar nhi hoti until ( I even said that it's Dhruv's wedding and it doesn't happen twice until)" Rudra suddenly smirked nudging Dhruv with his elbow dragging the 'l' in until while I was looking at him with wide eyes when suddenly his gaze fell on me and he gasped.

"Omg is she my sister-in-law? Goodness, what an angel!

Rudra, Dhruv warned him in a low tone and I felt like giggling out loud looking at his dramatics and my husband suddenly being 'husbandly' if that's even a word.

I mean 'apsara' (Beautiful Heavenly Nymphs)

Rudra, His tone grave this time while calling out his name and I was seconds away from laughing out loud looking at Rudra's antics.
