Natasha

I almost laugh like an asura before reminding myself of a couple of things, which calm me down, but I don't let the fire of revenge inside me calm down.

I won't be Natasha Singhania Rathore if I didn't transform Rudra Deshpande into a drenched rat. Oh, my goodness, it sounds perfect in my head.

More like a drenched monkey. Let's spare him some grace. I thump my feet in the cool, flowing water as I try to scare him with my stance. Him being dramatic, he matches my rhythm, pissing me off further.

"What the hell? I need you to be scared of me for real, and not just pretend like the drama queen you are."

"Wait a minute, sister-in-law. First of all, drama king, and secondly, I really am scared right now because you don't know what you look like." He says, standing straighter instead of facing me as a kabaddi player, although I am sure I am doing the same.

"Oh yeah? That's the sole purpose besides revenge, so you better be scared." I say, slowly bending down to fill the bucket, God knows from where he procured it.

"Oh my god, that's a lot of water." He says, satisfying my inner demon as he steps back, scared.

"It's perfect for a six-foot giant like you." I take my stance and hurl the bucket at him.

He steps away just in time, escaping my water attack, but no worries. I fill it up again and swing the bucket again.

"Goodness, sister-in-law, why the hate? Can't we go back to being friends?" He pleads as I continue to try dumping the bucket on him.

"No way. We can go back to being friends after I pour this perfectly customised shower on you." I say, and our game of Tom and Jerry begins until I mistakenly pour water on the Deshpande couple.

Shit!

They look back at me, surprised, drenched and a little shaken up.

"I-I am so sorry, Uncle, Aunt. I didn't mean to. I was trying to dump it on Rudra, but he hid behind you two and--

"It's alright, darling. We enjoyed it. Go and get him." Uncle Nakul quickly says, cutting me off in the middle, giving my shoulder an encouraging push.

I smile and enrich myself with a new energy, ready to end him for once.

"Now I won't leave you. Pooja! Uncle Nakul, hold him from both sides." I cry out, running towards him as my accomplices chain him down.

However, as soon as I get close, he breaks free, although he isn't able to get too far as I hurl the bucket at the right time, but that brat grabs my hand and pulls me close, drenching both of us together.

I shriek, stepping away immediately, but I am still a few seconds late.
