"Uncle! Uncle! Tell me a story!" A little girl ran over to her uncle, climbing onto his lap.
"A story? Oh geez, " He muttered as he thought, "How about the story about the sun and the moon?"
"The sun and the moon?" He nodded. "But they're just stars." She thought, "Hm, ok! The sun and the moon!" she smiled.
A small smile formed on his face before he started.
"Well, we know the sun represents joy and warmth, and the moon is more cold and dark; let's switch them up, ok? Just for the story."
"Awe, ok."
"The sun had been around for years and eventually fell in love with the moon. But the moon.. didn't seem to be ready."
"What do you mean ready?"
"Well..."

Craig walked through the halls of his school. He seemed a bit nervous, which was the opposite of his usual cold and stoic personality. He'd glance around as if looking for something or someone. He passed through a bunch of people. They all looked at him, especially his group of friends. Clyde ran over to keep up with Craig.
"Dude, are you good? What's with you today?"
"Have you seen Tweek? I want - no, I need to talk to him."
"Oh, he didn't come in today. He didn't text you? He sent me and the others a text about it." Craig suddenly stopped, "Check your phone, dude."
Craig pulled his phone out and went through his messages. How had he not seen it before?
"Oh," He let out a sigh.
"He should be at the shop."
"Yeah, I figure. I'll see you tomorrow then."
"Wait, you're skipping?"
"Better than just waiting." Craig shrugged before rushing off and out of school.

Craig made his way through the streets. He kept reading the text over and over, 'Working instead. Feel free to stop by, free coffee on me!' He stuffed his phone into his pocket as he reached the coffee shop. He pushed the door open, feeling his heart pounding in his chest. The little bell at the door caught Tweek's attention, and he smiled as he saw Craig. He was shaking slightly as his tics occasionally happened.
"Craig! Hey!" He greeted as Craig walked over to the counter.
"Hey Tweek, can we talk?"
"I don't have my break until... 2 hours from now.." He muttered
"It's fine, listen. I like you a lot, ok?"
"Oh, I like you too, Craig." He smiled as he started making a coffee for the other.
"No, I like like you." Craig emphasized as he leaned against the counter a little. Tweek paused as he continued to mix up the coffee with a few extracts.
"Oh." Was all he muttered. Craig began to grow a bit nervous, suddenly feeling regret. "You're a great guy, Craig, but... I don't feel ready for any relationships." He explained as he went over and grabbed a lid, placing it on the cup and giving ut to Craig. Craig took the cup with a sigh.
"I can wait."
"Are you sure? I don't know when I'll be ready." Craig nodded.

"And so, the sun waited. He waited for quite a few years, and now they were in their first year of university. The sun and the moon both were in a few of the same classes, not related to their majors, but just the general necessary classes. The sun was growing nervous again as he always passed by the moon, hoping one day the moon would bring up the conversation from years ago. But that day never came."

Craig was sitting in his mathematics class, tapping his pencil against his eraser to muffle the sound. He was occasionally glancing over at Tweek. He's been anxious every once in a while, and today was one of those times. Tweek never gave him any signs of possibly feeling ready. He always acted the same, and he seemed to even forget Craig's confession.

Class soon ended, and Craig quickly put his things away. He watched Tweek leave, and he quickly followed behind him.
"Tweek! Hey!" Craug called out, catching Tweek's attention. He stopped and turned to look at Craig.
"Hey, Craig. What's up?" Tweek asked before taking a sip of his coffee.
"Can we talk?"
"About?"
"You remember when I went over to the coffee shop and told you that I like you?"  Tweek nodded, "What are your thoughts now..?" Tweek stared at him for a second, his smile faltering a bit as he just stared at Craig. Craig grew a bit worried. Tweek sighed.
"Listen, Craig, I don't think I'm ready still. I also don't really... feel anything? Aside from anything platonic."
"Oh." Craig frowned, feeling his world shatter a bit.
"Yeah, sorry. We can still be friends, though." Tweek tried to reassure him. Craig nodded.
"Yeahx, that's fine."

"And so, the sun felt heartbroken. After the revelation, he almost kind of avoided the moon, not wanting to be heartbroken any further. The sun did eventually move on from the moon, having found another moon whom the sun soon fell in love with. This time, the new moon also fell in love with the sun. And they were happy together. Until one day, the new moon passed away. The sun was devastated. No one to love and all alone once again."
The little girl looked up at her uncle.
"Uncle Craig, do you still love the first moon?" She asked. He couldn't help but smile softly.
"I do. But I do miss my new moon as well.."
"It's ok, uncle, maybe one day you'll find a new moon again. Or maybe the moon will love you one day!" she beamed, and she tried to reassure him.
"Maybe." He patted her head, earning a few giggles from her.
