You sit in biology class, jotting down notes every now and then. You chewed the tip of your pencil -- a habit you had picked up quite recently. It has been two months since the masquerade ball, and one and a half since Wally and Samantha started dating. Of course it broke your heart, but then all you really wanted was for him to be happy. So...yeah. You somehow was able to bear the two of them being together. It was hard but you endured. You chuckled slightly as you realised that was what you had said before, when they weren't dating yet.
"So, how was your night?" you asked, walking down the hallway with Wally.
He shrugged. "Nothing interesting happened, really."
You felt a slight twinge of disappointment when he didn't mention Raven.
"Really? No girls you flirted with?" you teased, elbowing him.
"Ouch!" he whined, rubbing his side. "And no, didn't really meet anyone, because, like...they were all wearing masks, I don't know them, I don't want a fling."
"Really?" You raised an eyebrow. "You seem to have plenty of flings already."
He slapped you on the shoulder lightly and you burst out laughing.
You smiled lightly, remembering that day.

You were carrying your tray to your table, where you would meet Wally and - you dared say it - Samantha. Wally had repeatedly insisted on how it'd be "fun" and you grudgingly agreed.
Suddenly coldness spread all over your chest and you heard a loud shriek - before registering that it was your shriek. Ice cold soda had been dumped all over your shirt! Your favourite, limited edition Flash shirt might you add.
"Oopsie, sorry."
You growled, snapping your head up to see Samantha feigning an innocent look with a cup of soda - half empty. You were just about to lunge forward at her when you felt firm, strong hands on your shoulders, acting as your restraints. You relaxed slightly at his touch, but nonetheless continued glaring daggers.
"Samantha, you shouldn't have done that," Wally said.
Samantha's lip trembled, and she blinked her eyes rapidly. "B-but it was an accident! I didn't mean it!"
Wally sighed. "I know, Sam, but you should be more careful."
Samantha faked a sob. "Now you're taking her side?"
"No, Samantha, I'm not--"
"Then why?"
Wally sighed, sent you an apologetic look and went to comfort Samantha. You rolled your eyes as she smirked at you discreetly while she was being "comforted".
