". . .I totally preferred the white one, though."
You were walking down the beach with Kaldur, fingers lacing through his as you walked.
"Why? The blue looked simply gorgeous on you!" he argued.
Earlier in the afternoon, you had been in a performance and your costume was blue. This other girl had a white one and you simply loved that one way more.
"Yeah, well . . . White is my favourite colour," you reply. "Ugh, my legs are killing me." You huffed, sitting down on the sand. Kaldur laughed, sitting next to you. You sighed, leaning against Kaldur as he put his arm around you.
"You were beautiful during the performance, just letting you know."
You giggled and blushed. "Thank you." You stared at the waves crashing against the sand and looked up. The moon shined brilliantly, with a thousand stars scattered around it. "Isn't it just beautiful?"
"Not as beautiful as you," he whispered, kissing your forehead.
You blushed, and decided to lay your head on his lap instead. He started playing with your hair and telling you about his day. You listened attentively, soaking up every word he said.
". . . And then I got the chance to watch my beautiful girlfriend perform. It was the highlight of my day."
You looked up at him and stared into his eyes, without an expression on your face.
Kaldur looked down. "Is something wrong?" he asked warily.
You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled yourself up slightly, pulling his head down at the same time. "Kaldur," you whispered, "I love you so much." Then you pulled him in for a kiss. Your lips met his and electricity flowed through your veins. His kiss was passionate and loving. He smiled into the kiss, wrapping an arm around your waist, pulling you closer. He smelled like musk, and tasted so good. You sat on his lap, now kissing him hungrily, wanting more. Eventually you both ran out of breath and pulled apart. You got off his lap and stood up, pulling him up as well. "Come on. Let's go to the Cave."
He smirked, snaking an arm around you and pulling you close. Then you began walking back. When you got to the Cave M'gann and Superboy was watching television. But you didn't care. Right now all you cared about was Kaldur and only Kaldur. And maybe the fact that he was leading you towards the direction of his room.
He locked the door behind him and immediately began kissing you hungrily. You kissed back with as much desire. You wrapped an arm around his neck and wrapped your legs around his waist. He slammed you against his wardrobe door and you moaned. He began kissing your neck, emitting moans from you. Then he went back up and kissed your lips. He, quite impatiently, threw you down onto the bed. He began attacking your neck again before he went up to your ear and whispered, "This is definitely the highlight of my day."

yes, this is really short compared to others but i though i'd write a one shot where it's fluffy (i hope) and where it focuses entirely (well not really entirely) on the romance rather than writing a long one with a plot. because i simply don't have ideas and i'm too lazy to write that lol.
so sorry for taking so long to write this aqualad x reader but now that i've done it i feel great :D
