Y/N POV

Today is the start of the prides month and everywhere around town is filled with rainbows

It was a very colorful town and it got more Lively each minute as more people appear to buy something to either celebrate the month or give a little gift for their loved ones.

which is what I and Marcille had been planning for a few weeks prior to today; honestly Marcille was panicking and stammering all week begging me to help her find the perfect gift for sweet Falin

while we were walking in the streets filled with food stalls that even sells rainbow colored foods; not gonna lie
if Senshi was here he would have complained about how unhealthy it was to use food coloring..

BUT! I'm sure he wouldn't mind it if it's only for today..right? I mean it is pride month.

Marcille was still looking for the right gift to give her girlfriend, she checked on every. single. store. dragging me along with her,

"Ughh I still can't figure out what gift to give her...Y/NNN help meee.!"

she whined while shaking me like a maraca, I sighed and grabbed her hands pulling it away from my wobbly body

"Calm down Marcille..we'll figure out the perfect gift for Falin soon okay?
I still haven't even bought the right gift to give Namari for pete's sake"

I chuckled and patted her head, giving her an encouraging smile "we still have a few more days before the festival high lights so no need to fret okay?"

She pouted and nodded grumbling am "okay" before following me to the food court and grab something to eat before hunting for the gifts once more.

Marcille ordered the rainbow pasta while I ordered the dumpling that has the rainbow filling; I don't know how this works but I guess as long as it's delicious.

Once our bellies were full we immediately started to hunt once again

"I wonder..should I just go get her a new dress? It would still look pretty on her either way.." she looked down with a light tint of pink on her cheeks

I pinched her cheeks making her yelp and shot me a glare "what was that for??" I gave her an annoyed smug grin crossing my arms and scoffed

"Whenever I see that blush on your cheeks it usually means you're dozing off and daydream about her again instead of focusing"

that caught Marcille off guard and before she knew it I was laughing and chorteling at her reaction causing her to turn redder than a tomato.

"T-That's not funny Y/N! we should really focus on looking for a gift to give for Falin and Namari before sundown!" She tried to change the topic and scolded me for it pinching my cheeks

"Pfftt!— phew! Haha okay okay ow! I'm sorry— haha!" I couldn't stop giggling and laughing despite the slight sting coming from her pinching my cheeks and hitting my shoulders out of embarrassment.

after a little while we both calmed down, we continued on our search in every different store, she was still acting a little pouty about earlier but she'll get over it, we proceed to enter in a new shop

we were starting to lose a little bit of sunlight and were about to just retire back to our inns and try again the next morning; however something caught Marcille's eyes.
