When the Radio demon finally woke up from his slumber, he found Vox sitting at a table not too far away with a hot cup of tea and a bowl filled with steaming liquid.

"You're finally awake," Vox said, uncrossing his legs and placing his tea back onto the table. Alastor never liked tea, and he wrinkled his nose at the smell of it.

"Yes...I suppose I am," he muttered.

Vox had always heard Alastor's voice with static, and it felt odd hearing his normal voice.

An awkward silence settled between the two demons, both of them unsure of what to say.

"If you'll excuse me, I have business to do back at the hotel." Alastor broke the silence and attempted to get up from his position on the cushioned couch. As he shuffled his body, a tiny squeak escaped from his mouth and immediately sat back down. His wound hurt. A lot.

"Not so powerful now are you?" Vox smirked. He picked up the bowl and handed it to Alastor. "Velvette made some soup."

The Radio demon sneered, refusing to accept any form of help. But the way his ears twitched betrayed how much he wanted the food. There was no denying how hungry he was.

"Just take it!" Vox exclaimed, starting to get irritated. "Nobody's gonna judge you for accepting help."

Alastor was reminded of Husk who had said the exact same thing a small while back after he learned about the deal Alastor made.

Reluctantly, he took the bowl of soup and placed it in his lap. He picked up the cold metal spoon and tried the taste.

"Disgusting." Alastor muttered, glaring at Vox. But this time, his tail betrayed him. Vox noticed how it began to move from side to side against the couch. He must have found the soup delicious. Velvette's cooking is always delicious. Or maybe he was happy he wasn't starving anymore.

The TV demon only smirked when he noticed this. Not many people know about the famous Radio Demon's tail, since it was always covered by the long red coat he always wore. But Vox had the luxury of being shown it when they were still close friends...He found himself reminisng about the past often, and this was one of those occasions.

Alastor stopped eating, and looked up. "Why did you save me?"

"I-..." Vox started confidently, but then stopped. It was a very  good question. A question even he doesn't know the answer to. Why did he save him?

The Radio demon's smile strained. "Don't tell me it was out of pity?" he spat out the final word.

Vox rolled his eyes and said, "I wanted to have a bit of fun with you."

Alastor's eyes widened and turned into dials. "WHAT?"

The antlers on his head began to grow, glowing with a bright shade of green. If he still had his staff, static would have been filling the air.

"Oh my goodness, NOT THAT KIND OF FUN!!" Vox bellowed, annoyance clear in his voice. "You and Valentino are the same! Always reacting like that whenever I say the word 'fun'. Such dirty minds..."

Alastor returned back to normal, but he was still irritated. "Do not compare me to that piece of shit."

The piece of shit in question was Valentino. The Moth demon had been quite close to Alastor in the past. Not as close as Vox was, but still close enough to consider each other friends. However, the deer always found his taste in entertainment and his obsession with his little pets to be rather disturbing. Alastor loved to play with his food and tease the souls he owns, but he could never do something so disgusting.
