(IMPORTANT)
I apologise for this sudden change, but in the past when I have written that Alastor's smile is stitched please just completely forget that. I have changed it so that Alastor smiles all the time by choice. He still has a chain around his neck, but the soul owner did not stitch his mouth into a smile.Another thing that I've changed is in the previous chapter. Husk originally says 'Lucifer and Adam come with me', but I have changed it to just Lucifer. I really wanted to only keep Adam in the picture since I think he is an entertaining character however I can't think of any reason why Adam would ever want to help Alastor. I still want him to get a mini redemption arc though so :)

Once again, Vox found himself strolling through the streets of hell. Wandering around the streets of Pentagram City without a destination in mind was indeed a common thing now, yet it was the only thing that allowed his mind to relax. Occasionally he would go to the bar he came across the first time, hoping to hear the familiar and ever-so-slightly-annoying static filled voice greeting him. But it never happened.
Vox's brain was a mess. Partially because Valentino could not stop ranting about Angel Dust, but mainly because of the last visit he had with Alastor. He had let Vox touch him. He had let Vox comfort him. But most of all, Alastor had opened up to Vox. Even if it were a few words, Alastor showing signs of vulnerability wasn't something you got to see everyday.
So of course, Vox found himself standing beside the Happy Hotel once more, right below the window of Alastor's room. He was ready to use the classic excuse of 'I was bored' once again just to see his rival.
Vox had hid a drone beneath a pile of trash several weeks back. Now whenever he felt like visiting Alastor, he would activate his drone, fly it up next to the window and teleport through it. Vox may or may not had fallen the first time, but the other times had worked like a charm. He was surprised Alastor hadn't realised yet.
He popped into Alastor's room without trouble, and found himself face to face with...Husk?
"What are you doing here!?" Vox exclaimed in surprise.
"What? What do you mean what am I doing here!? What are YOU doing here!?" Husk yelled just as loudly, backing up and bring his hands (paws? claws?) up as if to defend himself.
Vox looked around, making sure that he teleported into the right room. Seeing the amount of red that blinded his eyes, he decided that it was indeed Alastor's room. He raised arms in a surrendering motion. "I come in peace." he assured, giving the feline an awkward grin. "I just came to...discuss something with Alastor. But clearly he's not here soooo..."
"You're asking me where he is?" Husk asked in a deadpan voice, but it sounded more like a statement than a question. Vox nodded as he attempted to show his most charismatic smile. "I have no idea where the Boss went, but even if I did why would I tell you?"
"Goodness, Husk! Surely you can do me a favour for...old times sake?" Vox said in a slurred tone. It often worked when it came to persuasion.
However, Husk didn't budge. "Don't act as if we were friends. You were friends with Al, not me."
"Right. But you can't deny that you enjoyed my lively presence back then." Vox smirked. Husk grunted, still not budging one bit, so the TV decided to give up. "Okay, look. I need you to tell me where Alastor is."
"And why would I do that?"
Vox was genuinely considering telling the feline the real reason why. He missed Alastor more than he was willing to admit, and he would do anything in order to be even just acquaintances again. The fact that Alastor had opened up a tiny bit to him showed how the deer still trusted him after everything. And Vox was not going to abandon a chance to be friends again.
