Alastor would never admit just how excited he was for this dance and found himself picking outfits from his wardrobe. Other than the suit Velvette made him, all his other clothes were practically the exact same with a few exceptions of hoodies. So finding clothes that matched the dancing vibe was genuinely difficult.

Then he heard a knock at the door. "Uh...Boss? Everybody is waiting for you downstairs. You doing alright in there?" It was Husk.

"Yes Husker! Totally fine, I'll be down in just a few moments..." Alastor responded, though Husk was deeply amused. It was clear that his soul owner was finding difficulty to find something to wear.

"Boss, I have a few spare suits if you need it." he offered his assistance. A silence settled after he said those words, and he was afraid that Alastor might have been put off by the suggestion and was going to threaten him again with his chain again. Luckily that wasn't the case.

"Husker my dear, can you get those for me?" Alastor responded.

After probably a few decades, the Radio Demon finally made an appearance in the hotel lobby. He was wearing a deep red victorian style shirt, a black suit jacket and trousers with a matching black tie and shiny black leather shoes. Alastor has no idea how Husk obtained such fine clothing, but he was not complaining considering the gasps of awe when he entered the room. He could practically feel his own ego grow.

Everybody else looked nice too. Charlie and Vaggie were in matching dresses but Charlie's was red and Vaggie's was pink. Cherri bomb was in a light pink dress that was ripped at the ends. It would have looked terrible on others but it looked fantastic on her. Nifty was wearing a cute white dress with small frills that made her look like an innocent child. Alastor smiled fondly at her.

Angel had a white suit jacket but with no shirt beneath it and matching trousers. Alastor would never dress up like that but it definitely didn't look bad on the spider demon. Husk was wearing a regular black suit which was improvement considering he usually considered his fur to be clothing enough. Sir Pentious was wearing the same dark blue outfit he wore during battle which didn't look half bad either. Meanwhile Adam just wore his usual exterminator robes.

"Alastor you look amazing!" Charlie commented. A nod of agreement circled around the room, earning a scoff from Lucifer at the side.

"Wait- Smiles who ya gonna dance with tonight?" Angel questioned. "I don't imagine it would be any of us right?"

"Now now, Angel dear. Patience. You'll know once we get there," Alastor responded, his grin widening at the thought of everybody's shocked faces when they see who it is. But another part of him just wanted to delay answering the question for as long as possible knowing it would be very awkward. Especially since Angel was under a contract under one of the Vee's.

"He's probably gonna be watching from the shadows like the lone wolf that he is." Lucifer muttered.

Alastor ignored the comment and twirled his staff in his hands a couple times. "Alright then! Let's go~!"

When everybody arrived at the venue, to say they were shocked to see Alastor's partner was a huge understatement. Each of them had their eyes as big as saucers as they desperately tried to pick their jaws off the floor. Alastor was of course deeply amused by their reactions, but took a long, deep breath when he saw Vox.

The TV Demon wore a beautiful dark blue suit, clearly made by Velvette. The sizing was just perfect to outline the shape of his body and his strong, broad figure. His expression was solemn and serious but not cold. Some could even say he looked like a true gentlemen. This time, it was everybody else's turn to be amused by Alastor's reaction.

When Vox noticed the Radio demon, he grinned and walked up to him. Bending down, he fell onto one knee, took Alastor's right hand a planted a small kiss on it. "Well, shall we go in?"

Alastor was clearly not expecting this and stood still for a good few moments as he attempted to process what just happened. A tiny but unnoticeable blush rose on his cheeks and he tried to calm down his beating heart. "Why of course old pal!" he chuckled, hiding his embarrassment well. He hastily grabbed Vox's arm and dragged him inside in a fluster.

"...hey Charlie. I'm havin' second thoughts about Smiles over there being an 'ace in the hole'." Angel commented.

"Me and you both..." the Princess responded.

When Alastor finally arrived inside the venue he let go of Vox's arm and pretended to wipe off dirt. But the TV Demon ignored it and smirked. "Oops! Did I embarrass you in front of your dear friends?" he said.

But the other demon just rolled his eyes. "As if." he muttered. Eventually the hall filled up with demons of all kind, and Alastor found himself looking uncomfortable as the place got crowded with more demons.

"You good, Al?" Before Vox had known it, he called the Radio Demon by an old nickname he once swore to never say again. But all of a sudden he felt calmed by his rival's presence, and seeing how the red haired deer didn't mind he didn't take it back. "You're as stiff as a board. Does it hurt when somebody touches your wound?"

Alastor glanced around suspiciously. "Goodness are you worried? I'm fine don't worry," he said, but quickly flinched as a demon raced past him and nudged him to the side.

Vox saw this as a good opportunity to ask a question he has been dying to ask. "Is there a reason you hate physical touch?" Alastor looked at the TV demon, his eyes still and smile unwavering, revealing nothing. Vox continued and said, "Is it...something to do with those scars?"

"How do you know about those?" Alastor suddenly became defensive.

"I treated the wound that Adam gave you. It would take a miracle to not notice." Vox responded.

"Nobody else saw them?" The Radio Demon's eyes were beginning to go to dials and his ears were pinned flat on his head.

"No. Nobody saw them other than me," Vox confirmed, relieved to see the deer beginning to calm down. But there was no way he was going to let pass this opportunity. "Is it your scars that cause you to hate physical touch?"

"Vox-"

"What happened to you? Because they look horrible..."

"Vox."

"Is it something to do with your death?"

"Vox..."

"You know I never actually asked about your dea-"

"Vox!"

Vox halted, seeing the distressed look in the deer's eyes. "S-sorry...I got a bit carried away." he paused. "Do you...want to dance on the balcony instead?" he offered seeing how the hall only seemed to fill up with more demons. "Theres a speaker outside too so we can still hear the music well."

Alastor blinked, slightly surprised at the offer. He never expected Vox to care so much, but was defiantly pleased realising it. "Yes. That would be nice actually." he said, voice as confident as he could make it sound to be as he once again dragged the TV Demon outside. "We can dance there instead."

I have changed something in the previous chapter which is something about Rosie being bored of Alastor. I made it sound like Rosie dislikes Alastor which is not the case at all for this fanfic therefore I changed it
