(Middle of the Road, Arohi on her Scooty)
Arohi set off to her office, the morning sun casting a warm glow on her as she navigated her scooty through the busy streets. She hummed a tune, feeling that nothing could dampen her mood, her scooty smoothly moves through the road.
That feeling quickly evaporated as she rounded a corner and saw Ayan standing resolutely in the middle of the road, Leaning against the bonnet of his car, Standing as tall as he is hands shoved in pocket, Surrounded by His soldiers. She was Taken aback.
Annoyance flickered across her face.
" Yeh Gamandi Yaha kya Kar Raha hai? "
She tried to maneuver around him, but he shifted to block her path each time, his expression unwavering. "Ayan, kya Kar rahe ho" He just shrugged his shoulder. Finally, she braked and glared at him. "What's your problem?" She snapped, folding her arms in frustration as she walked down from her scooty.
Ayan remained silent for a moment, his intense gaze locking onto hers, But hers...It kept darting around "Are you okay now?" he asked, his voice unexpectedly soft.
Arohi rolled her eyes and touched the spot on her hand where the IV had been Sarcastically "Yeah, of course I am, after you almost killed me," she retorted with biting sarcasm.
Ayan’s jaw tightened, frustration clear in his eyes. "I didn’t try to kill you! Why would I do that?"
"Oh, really? So the poisonous nut just magically appeared in my drink, did it?" she shot back, her voice rising.
He ran a hand through his hair, visibly agitated. "I told you, I had nothing to do with that! Why won't you believe me?"
Arohi scoffed, her annoyance bubbling over. "Maybe because you’re a known liar and manipulator! How am I supposed to trust anything you say?"
Ayan stepped closer, his frustration matching hers. "I don't care if you don't trust me, but at least use your brain! Why would I harm you when I need your help?"
Arohi opened her mouth to respond, but his words caught her off guard. He had a point, but admitting it felt like conceding defeat. "You're Idiot," she muttered instead.
"Likewise," he shot back, his tone equally exasperated.
They stood there, glaring at each other, the tension thick in the air.
