Arohi's Pov
As we served food to all the grandmas and grandpas seated in line, Maa, Chachi, and the staff helped ensure everyone was served. I walked back and forth, double-checking if anyone needed anything.
"Dadi Maa, aapko kuch chahiye?" I asked one elderly lady who seemed restless, constantly looking around. She caught my attention and whispered in a hushed tone, gesturing for me to come closer.
"Beti," she said, pulling out a bottle of vodka, My eyes widen.
"Dadi Maa!" The gasp I let, Dadi Maa Is cool bro!
"Mujhe yeh daal do, iske bina hazaam nahi hota mujhe," she giggled mischievously. I nodded slowly and poured vodka into her glass. "Haan ab hoga partyyyy!" She exclaimed, doing a little dance before downing it all in one shot.
"Prena ji," Sitara Ma'am approached us. We all looked at her expectantly.
"Sitara ji, aap bhi baithiye na," Maa offered kindly.
Sitara nodded and continued, "Woh sab chhodiye. Aap hamare sir, is old age house ke trustee..."
Before she could finish, my attention was drawn to Familiar figure, I took a look twice it was Ayan. He walked in with his hands in his pockets, full of attitude bordering on arrogance.
"Gamandi kahika, publicity ke liye buddhe logo ko use karta hai," I sneered under my breath, turning around to help Chachi.
"This is Ayan Agnivanshi," I heard someone say. I turned back to see Maa and Ayan exchanging pleasantries. My heart pounded with anxiety.
"Haan, inhe jaante hain hum, bahut naam suna hai," Maa snapped, sarcasm dripping from her words.
"Inhe bhi main jaanta hoon, Prena Bose bahut acchi insaan hain aap. Aaj yahaan hamare old age par dawat rakhne ke liye thanks," Look at that smile, Fake ass Bitch! "Itna fake Toh Plastic surgery Bhi Nahi hota" I murmur under my breath.
I continued to serve, I can sense A presence behind I am Carrying this two budget of food, It's too heavy "Jara yeh Pakdo Maa" I shove it to her And Walk away.
My Hair Keeps Falling on my face, And it's too hot in here fanning myself "Sab Hogaya, Ka Tu Bhi Kuch khake" If maa Is here then, Whom did i? I turned around Just to see Ayan Standing Holding the dish I pressed my Lips together containing my laughter, He is holding Dish on one hand And Busy on talk on, "Tapri wala" I mumbled
I hear a voice say, "Beta, woh ek dalde." I look Up at Ayan, He pointed at himself And looked around. I cover my mouth as he looks at the dish in disbelief. "Gamandi kahika," I mutter, he looks at me. "Oops," I reply.
"Dadi Maa, main deti hoon. Boliye kya chahiye," I say as I walk to him and snatch the food. Owner, trustee, whatever. "Yeh wala piece? Oh, acha yeh wala?" I serve the food, still feeling his presence behind me.
I shoot a side glance at him, just catching him turning away. "Help kar doge toh tumhara height kam nahi hoga, gamandi!" I mutter. "Buddhe log ki sewa karoge toh unka aashirvaad lagega. Haan haan, pata hai tumhe kya? Par kabhi kabhi punya ka kaam bhi kiya karo. Shareef se peshana toh tumhe aata nahi, natak hi kar lo," I advise. I know he doesn't listen, but what can I do? This guy gets on my nerves.
"Dekha maine kaise tumne bachon ko meri mithai ka dabba diya. At least deserving ke paas toh gaya mera hard work," I add. I see him smirk slightly as I continue my rant,
"Tumhare jaise logon ko bas natak hi aata hai. Kabhi asli me mehnat karke dekho, Dimaag Ghumna Jaye Abb Tumhe Kya pata Nokar Chakar Ke Saath bade hue ho," I jab, rolling my eyes.
