"Stop." I suddenly said, refusing to turn around. Obviously aware of who I was talking to, all of my guests froze. Silver probably hated me all the more as he'd actually attempted to help ease the situation.

"Yes! No need to go!" Angst said merrily.

"Why is she here?" I asked. Silver was still unaware she was inside undressing. Angst laughed loudly.

"I thought it would make things more interesting!" He laughed.

"You invited her?" I questioned.

"Of course!" He laughed harder, while looking towards Silver.

I could smell Silver's scent suddenly change. Using my energy, I channeled a small amount into my mouth and cut my tongue. The second Emerald stepped into the doorway I took a step towards her, blocking her exposed body to the rest of the audience. Behind me I could feel Silver's nervousness.

Every part of my body wanted to retaliate as I forced myself to protect someone I loathed for no rational reason. I pressed my body to hers, to shield her and reached my arms around her neck. Pulling myself up on my toes, I placed my mouth to hers, my poisons immediately invaded her thoughts. Done with the show, I released my hands from around her neck and moved them to wrap around her waist instead. I was still able to block the view of her naked body from the others.

"She's mine tonight." I said out loud, while breathing on her face. I let a burst of energy out, scattering whatever toxins I'd released in the air. Shadow stepping her back into the washroom, I grabbed only her outer robe. I draped it around her and loosely tied it just enough to cover what should be covered. Continuing to hold her waist, I shadow stepped towards Silver's chambers.

"Get them back to my chambers.." I used tender whisper on Torch while making my retreat.

"I want you to sleep in here, don't leave." I commanded, knowing Emerald would leave naturally when I was no longer in control of her. I opened Silver's doors, walked her inside and helped her into Silver's bed.

I took a look around, everything was the same as it always was. His bed was made of light colored wood with silver and pale blue bedding, the bedding I commissioned from Au's business. A detail Silver would never know about. There were rooms on either side of the hallway. Each room served a singular purpose. A writing room, library room, a room for his personal belongings including his wardrobe and weapons, and a room for a guest; which had been used several times by the present Emerald.

It occurred to me then that I should have set her in that room, but it was too late to regret it now. I stood up straight while refraining from clenching my fists into tight balls and hitting her just once, lightly of course. I could feel Silver using his energy to dash towards my front gate.

Further provoking my irritation, I listened as he slammed the gates open and barged into my rooms. Down the street I could feel Torch leading the others back, running as fast as they could manage with Torch still recovering. Silver searched in each of my rooms before running outside to look in the gardens. Torch rushed into my rooms, appearing frantic.

"I told you she won't bring Emerald here! Sin's bleeding, she won't poison the rest of us! It's why she left in a hurry!" Torch yelled at Silver who refused to listen. Silver returned to look in my bed once again.

"She left in a hurry because she's getting back at me for what I said to you earlier!" He yelled in Torch's face, his godlike serenity contorted into a fallen angel.

"She probably took her to your chambers! She tried to protect Emerald because you were helping her guests!" Torch yelled back.

Silver calmed his mind and finally channeled his senses out, searching his home. His body moved agilely around the people hindering his way out. Removing my hair clasp, I opened a small compartment and placed the small tab that fell out in my mouth. The turmoil inside me was overflowing, I was compelled to appease my anger.

I slammed open his front door and stepped out just as he arrived in front of me. Without pause, I grabbed the robes at his chest and channeled energy. The force threw him backwards and slammed him to the ground. Before he could move, I sat on top of him and bent down to kiss him. I transferred the melting poison tablet into his body. I stood over him, grabbed his arm, and drug his limp body through his doorway and down the hall. I finally left him on the floor of his bedroom. He was still conscious, I leaned down near his ear.

"Mm now I understand why you like her so much, I enjoyed her too. I left her in your bed." I whispered. His breathing was labored and his heart beat fast. "Sleep." I said coldly. Why should I explain myself. Think I'm a Demoness bent on revenge? So what? I checked his pulse one more time, he seemed to be stable. I turned to leave and looked up to find Lei watching me from the hall. His eyes swept towards the bed, noting Emerald lying peacefully. He looked awkwardly down at me. I didn't want to open my mouth, I walked past him without saying anything.

"Jin can sleep in my bed if he wants, you and Blake choose between the guest rooms. The bedding is clean and I cleared out most of the toxins earlier." I used tender whisper instead in passing.

"Where are you going?" Lei called after me.

"Sleeping somewhere else. Don't let anyone touch the jewelry or hair accessories." I replied using tender whisper.

Using shadow step, I made my way to the maid's house to borrow a night robe. I stood outside their door and waited briefly for my anger to dissipate. They talked excitedly about the day's events, filling in Myria on everything she missed.

"Can you bring me out a night robe?" I used tender whisper on Lane.

I heard her jump up immediately and run across the room to grab a folded set of clothing. She opened the door and ushered me in quickly. She handed me the clothing she smiled as I stood before her with my mouth shut, she held back a giggle. They all knew I did this to avoid poisoning them. The night robes were actually my own, unfortunately there had been several times where I needed them in the middle of the night or at a random time. They kept a set of unused robes here in their house, they'd have to order a new set for me again. They helped me change out of my clothing and into my night robes.

"They left their robes in the men's hot spring, later have someone retrieve them, Angst is currently occupying the spring with company. In the morning find something suitable and clean for them to wear. Something simple for breakfast, I'll be in the side yard, the wound will have healed enough for me to join them." I continued using tender whisper.

"Okay." they nodded at me as they gathered nearby with large smiles.

"Will they stay?" Santi chimed in trying not to giggle.

"I don't know." I trailed off not knowing how to explain it to myself let alone to other people. Nodding once as thanks, afraid to stay longer lest I poison them accidentally, I left. I returned to my yard in silence and scanned inside. Torch had left, returning to his place or to keep watch on the men's hot springs. Either way he'd be safe, Angst's head was likely clouded from my inordinate display of affection towards Emerald. Ludicrous, I thought to myself.

"Actually, I think Torch was right." Blake sounded defeated. What could it be that Blake is admittedly wrong about?

"Of course he is." Lei laughed. Just what did I miss?

"I don't know.." The Crown Prince trailed off. They seemed to walk their separate ways, deciding to retire for the night. Jin walked to my bed and laid down hesitantly, despite knowing the bedding was new I could still sense him smelling the pillow. It was likely it had absorbed a small amount of my scent that lingered in the room from earlier. The toxins should be minimal though, I used a large amount of energy to clear it out and had hardly used my residence for such a long time.

Sighing, I looked up at the sky. It was a reminder that I was no longer in that dark hole looking out at a small piece of the heavens, my view was completely unrestricted. Not yet wanting to fall asleep, I jumped into the flowering tree and lay down on a thick branch to watch the flowers sway in the wind overhead. The tree held tightly to the petals, but provided them life. I wondered if the petals thanked the wind for taking them away or cursed it for taking their life. The petals floated whimsically, an elegant dance to showcase their freedom before decaying on the ground. Perhaps the petals were indifferent, accepting their fate listlessly.
